Steve196 A junior gold explorer could end up doing more than one placing and if its done from and for the purposes of carrying out the initial discovery to the eventual point of getting bought out then so be it as shareholder value should increase. If we can demonstrate that we have the good / excellent grades and certainly economic ones and if the recovery rates are at the high end of the scale then new investors will without doubt pile in and in fact one would expect any placing to be oversubscribed.

This is not "dreams" as some would suggest. If the actual results turn out to be or exceed whats been laid out then you will see a major shift in the current market valuation

Hi Mickey1122 And that would value the company at 455m. If the grades turn out to be near the mark referred to on GGP site then you are looking much higher share price.

Hi Mickey1122 To achieve 13p/ share and taking 3.5 billion shares in issue into account, you only need a strike area of 600m × 600m × 200 m of depth if the average grade was say 3g per tonne. This is assuming that you fetch $49 per ounce of gold.

Hi Mickey1122 I agree with you and I have been thinking about this fund raise. We all know this is good news. However, I still believe its all to do with Ernest Giles but still cannot figure out why he did not mention this specifically in the RNS.

Indeed Mickey1122. I have just caught up with all the posts. I would just add that if we also look at the bigger picture from various literature this points to demand for gold increasing but there are real issues on the supply side. Yet, it begs a question why is the price of gold hovering around $1300 mark? This is not likely to be remain going forward as various forecasts suggests that the price of gold will increase to $2000 to $3000 in the next few years. If this is the case and if GGP were to get continued support from the shareholders whilst it proved up the potential in its projects than the upside for the shareholders is massive and the price it can command from any potential JV partner would also be substantial. Therefore, the name of the game as I see it is to be patient and sit tight. GGP needs to just prove up one project and it may open up doors to influx of investment. I think all major co eyes will be on EG when the drill results are announced in the next couple of weeks and could well prove a turning point in GGP's history.

Hi Miker I have a suspicion that GH is somehow aware of the quality of the early drills which he will drip feed one at a time. The RNS yesterday talked about further drills to be undertaken on EG. This to my mind is because he knows how good those early drills are and would want to expand further as quickly as possible.

Hi As Ernest Giles is so huge, different parts of the project could be put into separate companies, each of which could be formed into a JV. The same could apply to BH and Havieron.

Hi Mickey1122 It just so happens that I was going through all the Proactive Investor video interviews on GGP. In the interview on 27 March 2017, at around 2:21 CB states " quite frankly, Havieron is one of the biggest gold deposits on the planet". This statement it seems was made based on the initial drill results before they made this acquisition.

Hi Mickey The fact that GGP success is mentioned in their news release speaks volumes.

Hi Readthecandles I did not view EG as a flop. In fact quite the opposite. It is a well known fact that the big players offer as little as possible to the juniors in return for a large share of the project. I believe what GH has done, knowing what we have in EG, is to protect value for us shareholders.

Wannabe I couldn't agree more. Similar to another company I am invested in which when it reopens will make people scramble for shares. As someone put it, better to be in than out.
