What majors did during the bear market was under invest whilst the juniors like GGP were grabbing land. The number of projects GGP has is quite unique. Now the majors are more and more looking to form JVs where a junior can show not just good grades but also bigger land ownership which GGP certainly has - just waiting for those good grades on one of the projects and the game is on.

Hi Matt If they knew of the results and these were poor and therefore price sensitive, I would have thought they would be required to declare to the market under the Aim rules unless I am mistaken.The fact that they have not had the need to declare it to the market says it otherwise and to my mind suggests there is something going on behind the scene.

Excellent posts Tiburn. Prospector - agree with you. I mentioned in one of my previous posts that in early stage exploration, the levels of gold that are significant are much smaller than 1g per tonne because very small levels of gold may be indicative of a larger body somewhere nearby even if it was not directly sampled.

Omi has Greenstone Belt. GGP has Greenstone Belt. Prior to Newmont deal announcement by Omi, Omi raised finance in July this year from " Sophisticated International Mining Company " and " that Subscriber at the time owned 2.97 % of the company". Could such an International Mining Company not already made such a subscription in GGP so as to not warrant a disclosure?

Hi Tiburn Agree and my own view is that GH is much smarter than credit afforded to him by some people here. GH on Ernest Giles in May 2017 - " ONLY IF THE DEAL IS COMPELLING FOR OUR SHAREHOLDERS, WE WOULD CONSIDER IT" This really says it all. The big players will try to squeeze the small explorers GH knows from past drill results at EG that those grades are way above the cut-off economic results and with 200km strike area of greenstone belt under GGP 100 % control GGP are in a unique position and it will come good sooner or later.

If they know that EG is going to have excellent results and a deal was likely in the making then perhaps they should go for voluntarily suspension before announcing anything and relisting - similar to Lionsgold.

Hi Mickey1122 As we all know, the geology and mineralisation is similar to TELFER which produced 27 million ounces. I believe Callum Baxter said in the November 2017 video that if we achieve half that, he would be happy. If this is dome shape and now that the strike range has increased to 800m, if the depth turns out to be anywhere close to 20 meters and average grams of only say 20g per tonne then I guess Callum's (and ours) wish would be realised. Happy days here.

I cannot imagine that Newmont would point out to GGP to drill at the site identified by their high tech and simply walk away ("not at this time") without benefiting from any possible success by GGP at that site. Could the NDA with Newmont possibly include a clause that should GGP find a certain strike at the site pointed out by NM's tech then they have to be invited first?

A small point to note in relation to small exploration companies turning into producers via a JV: A small increase in price of gold can have a profound impact on the companies' earnings and share price. For example if the price of gold was 1200 and cost of producing 1000, you have earnings of 200. A 20% increase in price of gold would result in 1440 revenues and with cost remaining at 1000, you have earnings increasing to 440 - a 120% increase.

GH's words " we are always in conversations with various parties about ways we could cooperate together". As far as we are aware, GH has only been in talks last year with Newmont on EG. Read what may but "COULD COOPERATE TOGETHER" in my opinion says a lot and I can only think of one thing and that is Newmont may well come back.

Mickey1122 I would agree with you. GH is trying to keep us occupied with lots of other news whilst the report is being compiled on EG and what might turn out to be the jewel in the crown.

Hi Tiburn Great find. When I was comparing the three companies sites yesterday and samples laid out on the floor, I just could not brush away the similarities. Someone raised the point here that since 2006 when GGP was formed they have not done much apart from placing and burn cash. I think one needs to look at the life cycle of a typical gold junior company. I don't have much time to research today but GGP surely must have gone through a phase where the cost of producing an ounce of gold was at such a level in relation to the gold price that it was not worth pursuing a particular project at the time. 2017 year also saw the start of the financial crisis and juniors like GGP were adversely affected. A high percentage of juniors probably wound up. There are probably several other factors which slowed progress I am sure. Agree, GGP may have been not aggressive in early days but I think things started to move after GH joined and Paul Johnston from Metal Tigers invested.

Mickey1122 / Wannabe Also look at the pictures of aircore drilling from Legend Mining at their Rockford project which is compared to signatures of Nova - Bollinger style orebody. Then compare these sample pictures with both Nova and the GGP samples laid out on the ground. All same silvery white. I am not suggesting thst it is definitely Carnegie but certainly all three look the same
