Fleccy a simple message isn't always a good one. Yes they can cut costs, but that's something all telcos can do. They have a very limited proposition, just one market, and their retail sales are not impressive. Open reach will always make money, but even that's under pressure from altnets, especially in London. All I can see is a company shrinking back. Quite a few brokers are pessimistic about the BT SP and there are a few sell ratings. But yet it seems like it can do no wrong. I like Vodafone a lot more. They have restructured successfully and they have unique growth markets in Africa, the Middle East and soon to be the first pan-European satellite to smartphone service. It seems strange that they are treated with such caution when BT, simple and clear though they are, diminishing that they definitely are, get such positive investor sentiments
