If the Tories were in power for this new Trump administration, we'd be fracking and drilling new fields in the north s3a and opening new coal mines as fast as you can yell "Fire!!"

Fleccy, wholeheartedly agree. Many companies in the UK stock market are underpriced because of the macro picture. Not all; some. Vodafone is probably 10% underpriced. BT is probably 10% overpriced.

Labour never were the party of individual wealth. They will run down the economy. However, there are vital institutions that desperately need work. The Tories were never going to address the NHS or the Prison/court systems. Even more importantly they didn't have any angle on the environment which is turning inexorably from an inconvenient truth into a cataclysm. Personally, I think we need 6 years of social reconstruction. After that, it'll be back to the Tories. Or maybe even Reform.

Aspers, Q3 results in a couple of weeks should indicate how things are looking. They are at the tail end of a major restructuring, which seems to have gone well. Now they have the long slog of reducing costs, reducing debt, increasing ARPU, restoring Germany, increasing market share and finding new market opportunities without trapping themselves (as they have done in the past). Nothing dramatic will reveal in Q3, but hopefully some small indicators that the company will grow in 2025

I see Citigroup rated down Vodafone because of Germany. That's the real challenge. If the Q3 news has positive momentum at a group level that's acceptable, but if there are signs of regrowth in Germany that could be the catalyst for a rerating.

I see a gradual increase if you consider the increasing asset value of the mine as it progresses towards operational readiness. I agree there will be no jump without news, but hopefully the management team are on the financing and we get the jump before the end of 2025. Meanwhile a penny increase per month is my prediction. I read it in my tea leaves.

£1.32 for me. Q3 will show continued losses in retail and the SP will fall accordingly

The way I see it, no matter what happens with the funding, the the value of the mine as an asset must be increasing as it nears completion. I reckon the SP will get to 20p before any funding news, simply because of that.

Expat, no wish to score points or be insulting, but I want to highlight my concerns that the forces pushing the price up are strategic and maybe geopolitical, while the forces pushing the price down are commercial. BT is losing market share. I can't see any sign of that turning around. The retail brand is so weak, especially in Business retail. I used to have 40k shares, now I have 6k and I'm questioning whether to keep them.

Vodafone are doing a deal with AST so i doubt it will be Musk, but agreed satellites are an important part of the mobile mix, especially in Africa

It was raised by the local labour MP before the budget and an adjournment debate was agreed to. This Labour govt are very big on regional development and for Cornwall it's probably mining that will get the focus. Also they have a critical minerals strategy that makes me confident they will get the support they need

No doubting the risk. They need funds sometime in 2025 to go to full production. They have a big investor backing them (Vision Blue), and they have good parliamentary lobbying. The mine is under construction and on track. The preliminary economic assessment (PEA) confirms the mine is viable with expansion possible. Overall it's got tenfold upside, but the risk is that they don't get funding without big share dilution

Can you loan me a few grand so I can do likewise, lol. Actually I've got an AIM share, Cornish Metals, which I'm counting on for growth. Once the mibe is operational, if Vodafone hasn't risen too high, I'll buy more then and make it the base of my passive income

this is huge.a pivotal moment . too much is made of market share erosion, failing to keep customers. poppy****. sales and revenue are nothing but a sideshow. the main thing is to fend off law suits. that's the key to a golden future.

Big improvement. This is why I like Vodafone. They aren't aone trick pony. Even when Germany showed a slump the grouo grew because of their other markets. If the company continues to improve after the restructuring this could become a very successful long term share
