I wouldn't buy more. 90 000 sounds like a lot but the shares are something straight out of Wolf of Wall Street. Maybe, just maybe but as previous comments have said, it's pure gambling

I'm also quite happy regarding this. The shares were a gamble, but for 2p, I think I can make a profit. Anything over 10p, it might be a long wait. Even the new investor doesn't have a magic wand. All AMTE really have is IP so there is a lot to do. I suspect the new buyer is targeting potential clients and will only invest if they can be secured. Certainly I've never had any confidence in the AMTE team as a sales organisation. They are a bunch of techs

BT and Vodafone tend to move together, probably because they are often found together in funds. It will be interesting to see their half-year results. If they are good, my bet is for BT to hit £1.34 by the end of November

Drawl can't afford to bid, Deutsche don't want to, and BT won't be under any duress to spin off Openreach. Why would they want to when they are investing billions in it. I'm quite happy for the SP to recover gradually. The Outlook is for BT to evolve into an AI cash cow. Solid

Hey y'all. I see the share price has spiked. If no news tomorrow it will sink again but still, it's nice to see a flicker of life. I say, it's not worth buying or selling right now. Just hold and fingers crossed. Someone said buying now was like being Warren Buffet. Hmm. No. Warren Buffet buys healthy stocks that are out of fashion and overweight. Plenty around just now. AMTE on the other hand is far from healthy. In fact it will be dead by Christmas if someone doesn't lend it a kidney. They might, so I'm still in. But it's a gamble. Total punt

Meanwhile it's a good time to buy. Just do so knowing you won't see a profit for 2 years, and there is a risk of bankruptcy if funding stops. Seems unlikely but it is possible.

Hi folks. Can anyone clue me in regarding when the dividend, or lack of one, is announced? I know the half year results are due mid November

Vodafone look like they are on the right tracks and making a sustainable recovery. I'll keep adding. I'm confident the dividend is going to stay and it's a good indication that the shares are underpriced - that the dividend is around 10%. Everyone seems to think the dividend has to correct down. That might have been true a year ago, but I think they will deliver strong H2 results. Not showing big growth, but looking leaner and more consolidated

Some days when a share is rising or there is some drama going on I can end up checking for updates so often that I end up with a sore head and a kind of anxious depression that comes with too much repetition. Does anyone else feel a bit addicted to share watching?

I spoke to Chris Fielding of WH Ireland (AMTE's broker) by telephone this morning. He couldn't say much but his expectation is that the shares will come out of suspension following the GM. He thinks the shares were suspended because someone tried to sell shares that hadn't yet cleared into their dealing accounts, which makes sense given the frenzy of trading after the share dilution was announced. The reason is confidential to the LSE but I'd take his advice as the next best informed, at least for now

This is a Warren Buffet share. Out of favour because of admittedly significant issues, but still undervalued by the market. I reckon £1.30 by the end of March. Solid quarterly reports will reassure people that the dividend is safe. There are some major investors behind Vodafone, they have a good CEO and they are making strides towards long term cost reduction

Apologies for my ignorance, but the way I read this is that WH Ireland, or AMTE themselves, have sold the additional shares to the investor I'm a way that reserves the shares for them at the agreed price, but doesn't oblige them to buy, and the LSE clearlydon't like that as it falsifies the trading prices for everyone else. Am I talking rubbish?

I don't think BT will be taken over. The regulatory environment is too tough, and they are pretty much national infrastructure.. They are governed by the state. Take for example the removal of Huawei. They aren't a water company. They are not an easy target for overseas investors. They will improve their numbers as pensioners die, staff leave and the fibre rollout completes. By 2039 I see them becoming solidly profitable with a very stable share price up around £2.20 and dividends above average. But no jackpots. Really an income share to mix with others. Now is the time to buy and hold.

Maybe they do rise on blind sentiment but they always fall back again

I think the share price belongs around 2.1-2.2p, until the "investor" does the deal. I'm on a limit order to the end of the week for 2.07p. The share price won't climb on blind sentiment

That's probably all true in their current pre-trading situation. But the value company is their future, not their present. Its a gamble. Not only is the company an unknown quantity but the whole industry is as well.
