Hi, I tried to register to vote. I spoke to WH Ireland , tge AMTE broker, who referred me to the registrar. They told me that I fall under the category of "underlying beneficiary of nominated shareholder ", which is public schoolboy speak for "you bought your shares on an Internet dealing platform. We notify them and they should notify you". Mine didn't (Eqi) and I am querying with them why not. Did this happen to anyone else? Even though I've missed this vote, I still want to be registered, in case migration to the LSE prevents me from registering for future votes

So AMTE have IP, some good safety certification, a backer, some new manufacturing possibilities courtesy of the UKBIC in Coventry, and probably some greater access to grant funding. I hope and expect that Pinnacle take them forward. They've never struck me as being particularly savvy about business and leading their own charge would be a mistake, when so many big fish are getting ready to swim in the same pond. Personally I think they should have done more to win small early contracts to show off their technology. They don't have enough case studies. Now they need to prove they are a complete commercial package and not just techs

It doesn't matter what the share price is until we see the next RNS. It can't rise higher than a quick buck for profit takers, and it can't drop lower than half a penny. I'm gonna leave this in the oven and enjoy the sunshine. Approval of Pinnacle is certain, at least om AMTE's side. Maybe Pinnacle will find done reason to back out , but I doubt it. I have no idea when we will hear news about where they want to base themselves but those announcements are the point at which it all becomes really interesting. Until then, it's all becoming a bit OCD on here

Quant, because like you I see the potential. But I also see the barriers. Actually I bought more at 2p so my average purchase price is about 4p. I wouldn't buy more. It's too risky. I've also got Cornish Metals who are looking stable and who, by contrast, have full capital from an industry leader to build a working mine and who are halfway through that process. The contrast is glaring. I hope AMTE get to that stage but it's bookies odds

Quant you are your own worst enemy with these blinkers. AMTE have got nothing but IP. Their rescue is entirely dependent on Pinnacle. I'm sure there will be grant money if their deal is accepted. After that it's a long road that will require far more funding than exists just now. This business of rampers and derampers: get a grip. None of us are big investors or power brokers. We are all just punters betting up to maybe £10k. Mostly less. People are trying to be realistic about the risk, and the hard road ahead. We all know the potential market is huge but so what. No production capacity that matters and no customers. This may change and I hope it does. I'm in for £3k and I'm willing to hold for a year, or until they go bust. But jeez, take off the blinkers

Teggsy Levelling Up is a broad based fund and this award covers all of Scotland. I'm sure AMTE will apply for funding from every possible source and. As of today, those sources got a bit richer. Good luck to them. Maybe a few tens of thousands here, maybe a capital grant there ( although funding from government is usually partial and requires some degree of matched investment from a private source) the key is pinnacle. Without them AMTE are dead. With them there's a chance. But it's just a chance.

True. I see people here saying there is a factory ready to roll, contracts all set to go. These are delusions. AMTE have IP and a small facility in Thurso. Nothing else. They have a funder who will take them forward and that's great, but it's only a first step. The investment required is tens of millions. As yet, AMTE do not have those resources

I have consulted the charts. Libra is in the ascendancy. The share price is definitely going up. Or down. Or it might not move at all.

So much talk is about the buying and selling of shares, ie what the big players are doing and what us small fish should do in response. It seems irrelevant to me. People saying it's gonna plunge or its going up 1000% by the weekend. What will make or break this share is whether they can set up in production and whether they can win the right contracts. Neither will be easy. I've heard people say they already have a factory but they don't, other than too-small Thurso, and Dundee is not going to be easy. Like a data centre, a gigafactory needs to have huge amounts of power fed into it and the wholesale suppliers won't plough in all the costs of civil works and extra generation just for one business. It takes political support plus big private finance. That's why AMTE made a thing about building megafactories rather than gigafactories. Because power supply is such a stumbling block. I do think this new investment will push things forward, but only a few steps. There are major questions still hanging over AMTE. None of them are to do with the games of day traders.

The factory is already built in Scotland.? Gee I must have missed that. Do you mean the small plant in Thurso? Or the proposed plant in Dundee? If you mean Thurso, that's nowhere near big enough, even after they expanded it. If you mean Dundee then apologies I really must have been sleeping. I thought it was just a plan

What I don't understand is where they expect to be by mid-24? This funding won't build a factory. I'm sure this new investor expects some progress to be made, but what that is I can't fathom. More development around the technology? Additional safety certification etc but that's still well short of a company that can stand on its own two feet. And they don't look to me like they want to run the company long term. They must be grooming AMTE for sale to a big manufacturer. Automotive or power generator. Can't think who else

Maybe a little above. Sentiment will go bullish but you are right it can't go much higher before it gets pulled back. This RNS is only one step forward

The real value of AMTE is still a few years down the road. I'm holding until they've shown a year's worth of sales from a factory working full tilt at scale. I reckon by then it will be the best £3k I ever spent

I can imagine the standoff. Bridging Lender won't lend without assurances from the investor, who is probably waiting for assurances from their 3rd parties hence the need for a bridging loan. Quite a serious situation, very hard to break the circle. Either the company goes into administration or a white Knight steps in to underwrite the shirt term risk
