I go between BT and Vodafone, trying to surf the peaks and troughs to increase my shareholding. Just now, to me, will prove to be the perfect historical opportunity. Both stocks are undervalued. To me, Vodafone is ahead of BT in terms of performance, and I like what the board are doing. Yet it's BT who attract all the investment. I'm there just now, simply because the stock rises and falls by a margin of 5% every few weeks and it's easy to make profits accordingly when the average trend is upwards. What I don't understand is why Vodafone stays in the doldrums. All these share buybacks have hardly moved the price at all. I'm moving back to Vodafone before the H1 results, because I expect them to show increased growth. By contrast I expect BTs H1 to be flat at best. Then the 3 announcement a month later. Surely ... surely that highlights an undervalued stock to the world and it rises 50% in a quarter. It's hard to fathom
