I was an accountant specialising in tax. I never came across a data room where a sale was not the purpose. Of course that is no guarantee a sale will actually take place but it certainly shows the management intention.
On the tax it will be very complicated as you have different tax areas involved. In particular to the extent it is Spanish tax the losses brought forward will only be available for offset to the extent they were incurred in Spain. I don’t know the history.... but the effective tax rate is likely to be Spain’s re this mine We would get a credit on the UK but that’s no use if we have no UK tax due to losses brought forward as a whole. So if we pay Spanish tax that will be the real tax cost

Open I suspect that is an incentive agreed with the aussie Tax authorities to subsidise the project of acquiring and installing the production line which is of the order of 5m-as opposed to the recurring r and d subsidy

I just meant that it was a potential reading of the rns that there was uncertainty as to whether they would meet the test as opposed to there was no way that they could. Hence. A faint hope they might be expecting getting near the 5p we discussed. But I agree that is clutching at straws! I also was surprised they were talking about q1 2020. I half expected the deal would be done pre Xmas given all the chat about lack of funds and accelerating the sale. I really think this management has been poor once things went awry. Nite

They talk about uncertainty at meeting the Nasdaq criteria for listing. Does that mean that they could possibly meet them based on their guess at sales value. Or is it just b s ? We will see. I think we came up with5 p before as the necessary value. I would take that any day !
