p p could you let us know what experience or qualifications you have to make some of your assertions? genuine question -although i have many of these shares i keep my eyes open.

vanilla they may well be options which can be exercised under a scheme which is like the uk save as you earn scheme where you save for three five or seven years and then you exercise the options at the predetermined price. typically they all vest on the expiry of the 5 years say.people generally then sell .it would explain why everyone is exercising at the same time.
nice to see the share price recovering..... but I wish that person hadnt jinxed us with that silly comment re we wont see 5 p again!

i think many of you have missed the point. The dividend once declared is in the price- hence that big s price jump when it was declared . You could have got the 42p dividend cash today by selling- now you have to wait till january ......the 42 p will come off your stock price tomorrow .
depending on where the s p goes tomorrow I will be buying in . Your cash is tied up till jan .

Assuming your shares are in an ISA and tax is therefore not consideration,you have a choice of getting the value of the dividend now through a share sale,or waiting for the dividend to be paid out in january- seems to me that the former is what makes more sense. Then when the share price drops when the share goes ex div as it certainly will you have the cash to buy more immediately (because you have the sale proceeds available). If you have to wait till january you cannot use the funds on the ex div date to load up more(if you think the new share price is a bargain)

If there is no isa or sipp involved then you would lmost certainly be better off receiving the money as a sale proceeds rather than a dividend ssuming you have the capital gains tax allowance available. It will depend on your own tax circcumstances.

to actually buy the share now to get the dividend would be a mistake -you would be turning capital into income and tying up capital

isomer that is spot on.and you would be tying up that cash for a month so couldnt use it for purchase the share on day 1 post the dividend.and the cash you get back may be taxable. i am surprised any people are buying at the moment .the only reason i can see is that if they get in now they are able to benefit if they think the share price post dividend ie around 12 p or so is very cheap ,and do not want to wait for a scrum on the first day of trading. The share will drop 42p but that may be countered if people think the share at 12 p is a bargain and buy in., But to lock in their position for that day and avoid the scrum they are having to part with five times the net share price. I am going to wait and see .

ps I held all the way last time from 2 p to 14 p then down to 4 p so it did work that way ultimately although pychologically painful for a while . This time I learned my lesson and took half of the profits.
Patience does work if its a good share.

I would add that this is because we are still at th estage of develipment where little in the way of real cas h coming in-ie it is all do do with prospects.That is fertile ground for ramping and deramping and fear and greed. When we start to get the sales and contracts and the gad free success it will be like a normal share .
So I think it is going to be hugely successful in time as it has many exciting and grround breaking products in prospect.

its the pattern- I am not saying its rational- and i retained half of my holding having sold half at at 21 p ,but hedged by keeping half (in case there was more to come)and expect it to go up in the coming months. hence I will be rebuying . And frankly I was right. The people who waded in were simply buying at the top . If they hold ,and dont have stop losses ,I reckon they will be successful .But a lot panic when they see it fall ...which is why I always say you have to be prepared to lose it all to win! nite

they took the shares as recompense based on a a share price defined at that time. It has nothing to do with the share price now.
If you all look back at how this share prefors it spikes ad then falls back over time and stays there for a good while. Last tiem roughly 14 down to 4 or 5 . That i function of ramping ,over enthusiasm,pass the parcel,people then having stop losses which over time get called when the share price slides and often on very little volume. The n one day news hits and it is a repeat. the key is the underlying basics of the share- as david smith said revolution not evolution. It will come back- but how far will it drop. I had around 7 in mind ....then I may rebuy some . And Trevor Browns tweet is right on btw.

look at the seeing machines SEE RNS dated 4 March 2020 which says they have appointed stifel to help encourage US interest.
A few months later a 10 per cent placing with a major US investor took place and see shares went up from roughly 4p to 5p.
So stifel clearly act in the US in some way. more detail in RNS cheers

Just what I was thinking IB ,especially as young Tom was all over the media for months leading up to the fund raise.! But my hope is that this is becuase there is so much going on that 1 he hasnt the time and 2 he cant say anything meaningful without giving away insider info.
I was hoping Elartu or another knowledgeable might have some knowledge of how long it takes to embed Bleepa within a Trusts system as that may also explain the lack of news so far on contracts?

May be we are at cross purposes- I really dont care when the machinery is shipped ie december or january just so long as they get manufacturing and shipping product in january
