Hypothesis -will it work on an elderly male nose if the elderly males have are most deficient in interferons that is if the mechanism depends on stimulation of beta interferon if my understanding of the mechanism is correct

Very complicated mechanism .TLR agonist might be involved stimulation of interferons and other cytokines deactivating the virus in the URT and preventing it getting to the LRT that all my brain can take .

At a glance I am not sure of the mechanism of this synthetic drug but it appears to stimulate the innate immunity and does not involve humoral immunity (antibodies ) or interferons .Cannot find the study anybody (or ferrets ) .Anybody got any suggestions ? Thanks
