With all respect I am sure there are 100% of Tories are aware of SNG most of even shrewd enough to have shares .Most of us are just frustrated by the fact that lives are being lost in the meantime Where is the Magnanimity of our Gov what are they fearful of .If our drug fails they still got dexamethasone etc treatment . If SNG successful s after P3 trials then people might asked why wasn't this treatment fast tracked sooner to save hundreds or more lives ,How will Borris Chris and Patrick the respond to that ?question ?

Very uplifting message and many applications it really is a wonder drug There were new bits which were brought to my attention .A broad spectrum drug etc etc ....... and for other indications such as for the treatments of immunosuppressant patients after cancer therapy .And the Virtual Home Trial on Zoom with access to Health professional Brilliant !

Sounds like an autoimmune response ; a haemolytic crisis caused by the virus ( from my limited knowledge )

All of humanity need a vaccine and SNG .The Chinese I have read a study on WHO website have a vaccine that produces neutralising antibodies for the short term but still need to do further intensive immunogenic studies to determine how long the antibodies will provide immunity and moreover will it protect us from any further mutations . Both vaccines and treatments are essential to protect us form this curse .

My sentiments also Org30 I have no problem with the science ,the business or the what appears a skilful team and a founding member has knighthood .What I cannot get my head around is the reticence on of those who you expect to show leadership and urgency in order to save lives as you said Witty . Vallance , Holgate ,Farrar and many other leading lights shown no acknowledgements at this most promising treatment for overcoming this pandemic .What is the game with them ?I am cynical enough to believe they have a conflict of interest eg vaccines that is are they fearful that a ground breaking treatment will deter people taking up the vaccine even if it works well .Or as mentioned before are the Government invested millions (and privately) on vaccines that may not work and previously antibody tests etc just to be upstaged by a minnow company like Synairgen .Am I cynical enough to think that they would withhold a treatment when they could have fast track .If treatment is coming next year that means we will miss the peak of the death rate .I wish some could explain the silence from the politicians and intelligentsia and hope its not commercial sensitivity!

thanks for your question .I was referring to the Synairgen's research over the last 15 years of beta interferon in the treatment of COPD which was also discovered to be of benefit in the treatment of Covid 19 patients in its nebulized form and other respiratory virus because of anti viral activity and is completely safe .An exciting breakthrough and prospect not appreciated and missing the point in the Express report imV

The report is somewhat subdued and does not emphasise this is a Successful trials to breakthrough treatment saving lives after 15 years research other than " interferon preventing replication of virus in cells ",Another opportunity missed sounds like Synairgen has just started from the lab bench and taking it to trials No criticism G Marsden just the Express
