Overall the point he was making that a drugs and therapeutic treatments have been overlooked and he seems to regret that fact because too much reliance has been placed on vaccines which might not live up to their expectation of adequate protection leading to herd immunity imv

The article plays up the importance and role of interferon lambda in early infection and to the lesser extent type 1 interferon and beta ? Although it does confirm Casanova work on innate immunity .Is this finding on interferon lambda new ?

UK gov all puffed up better than anyone else, seizing the opportunities from other countries when they cannot see what is in their own backyard is sickening , perhaps those countries might see our worth goad them one day .

Being in the 65 -70 age group I hope not to be vaccinated till next year
ideally around May then we might know what how strong the protection levels will last I am in no rush unlike the regulators I will be scrutinising everything .

Like I said before not selling just follow the science potentially our best treatment shame others including our leaders could not see this

not sure if if long term lung damage can be treated with SNG only prevented but somebody may have the answer

That my feelings too the drug not out there saving lives .A great disappointed indeed after writing so many emails to MPs and Regulatory bodies .Great expectations a glimmer of light in such dark and desperate times and nothing but silence After yesterdays webinar there was no sense of concern for the reality just a cold clinical approach ,follow the regulatory process , its safe but not safe enough , we have a broad spectrum antiviral with potential but a bit too fiddly to enter into an early recovery trial Home trial 40 recruits but so difficult ....... It was pointed out on News Night in the context of severe adverse reactions in the event of vaccinating millions of people. The majority of the population are healthy and do not need protection and upon vaccination the risk /benefit to adverse reaction is greater whilst in the older population who might have severe covid or might die the adverse reaction risk/benefit is considered favourable and will be vaccinated first. So I am a guinea pig then ?! Just more to think about depending on your age I suppose

I think what he tried to say that Sngoo1 was at the time had only gone through P2 safety checks, also nebulised interferon required a trained clinicians to apply the treatment whereas other drugs had gone through more rigorous P3 safety checks and were in a tablet form "ready to go" so to speak .That was my understanding anyway whilst listening to the coronavirus update on the news at the same time

derived from interfere (as in virus replication) its the only question i got right too!

I have been banging on about that subject for months. Its ironic when you think we have left Europe and Brexit would give UK great opportunities it may now come down to a EU country or perhaps another Is this another great British achievement being overlooked and also forsaken for crocus bulbs ?Unbelievable

Scinv thanks for that I can understand that a vigorous Th1 response can induce gamma interferon or other cytokines that may predispose to some sort of autoimmune response as a result of vaccination However I have never found any evidence to say that vaccine conventional or mRNA will provide protection to elderly esp male with deficient beta interferon as a result of gene mutation or autoantibody is just not going to work is it ?

yes degradation with age is a well understood believe me but it has been discussed and well research on this board of the role of autoantibodies mutagenic genes , interferon impairment and immunosuppression and this is recent research and role of vaccines in protecting these vulnerabilities is not known Sngoo1 therapy is the answer that's why AZ in a rush to developing their monoclonal therapy atb

with what we know about beta interferon impairment and deficiency and how the virus can evade the innate immune system will vaccines even work in the elderly ,If not unlucky me, that why I am invested here
