The situation is now so dire and the Gov quite rightly decides to take unauthorised actions to extend the booster jab to 12 weeks because in an emergency situation like in the greatest pandemic in our time such actions are necessary to save lives. Now an hypothetical question if in the UK there are 2000 or more admissions hospitalised patients daily and there is a unauthorised but completely safe potential treatment out there and is known to be safe and a stock piled of doses 100000 a month . Then could such actions be taken to allow at least 50 days of treatment, enough time to ease the burden on the NHS also allowing the vaccines to become established in the vulnerable and bring a quick end to this lockdown .Why can’t the knobheads in Gov just do it and follow the science ! The agony of waiting is too much to bear Rant over

my concern was that children hospitalised and less than 20 years olds were apparently healthy .We cannot rule out genetic / immungenic defects and other vulnerabilities but the difference in numbers between the first wave and the second wave in apparently healthy general is concerning and apparently vaccines have not bee validated for children ?

I have heard this news on the radio from a report from a nurse but a doctor on TV this morning was not aware of the situation If it is true it not supported by the science to why older peoples are susceptible and children are not and beta interferon is a key to the treatment to Covid 19 unless something else is going on ?

RM has an opportunity to mention dosing to change the media narrative from vaccines to treatment at this critical point in the pandemic before vaccine become established

I should think medical will be briefed and welcome being involved in an exciting trial of a new therapeutic which will take a mighty burden off their shoulders if successful and the fact they will be getting vaccinated soon will help relieve the stress of the job

I am sure RM is anxious to start dosing and reporting positives news quickly before the vaccine become established in the older population just to demonstrated the potential of the treatment hopefully to save lives .Nobody has been vaccinated twice yet to my knowledge nobody can say how many people have antibody protection and how long it persists or prevents transmission .
