Thanks Jez the post was worth posting .Some useful information for example their repurposed sepsis drug for covid .My gripe was the previous trials of interferons seem to overshadow the brilliant science and potential of our drug and as we know that why some competing interests have conveniently chosen to ignore it over the last year .ATB

Its mentions the failures of interferon in previous trials (thanks to WHO etc ) Its disappointing the article is lacking the compelling science and the potential merits of inhaled beta interferon now being trialled in India

They had to sell these options before September if no news is imminent are they allowed to reinvest the proceeds ?

I agree and curious that those figures new cases and hospitalisation and mortality for the UK with almost the greatest vaccination coverage are usually higher than other European countries and the data this time last Summer in the UK without vaccination are lower .I know there is Delta virus and different restrictions etc but I expected lower figures within the UK

Does that mean we treat vaccinated people?

I don't think their phase 2 trials have been peer review yet , but it will not stop them getting an EUA or Biden throwing billions dollars at them

You think the US would have learnt the lessons from Remdesivir .Fauci need to be reminded the drugs don't work .Why are they using Molnupiravir which acts on the viral RNA perhaps its another Gain of Function Catastrophe in the making in my mind .Interferon is a natural protein , safe drug and the science is rock solid .

I just hope they obtain more quality data from Activ 2 which includes the effect of sng 001 on viral loads and its efficacy on a range of variants . There are opportunities to use screening tests for interferon deficiency for those who will develop severe disease which makes it more cost effective and there are also other biomarkers other than breathlessness .Its taken longer than I hoped but its proven safe and quality data is king
