Starting in large cities and rapidly expanding beyond, the CDC must work with private labs and manufacturers to ensure adequate production capacity, quality control, training, and technical assistance. The number of tests must be in the millions, not the thousands.
Provide a daily public White House report on how many tests have been done by the CDC, state and local health authorities, and private laboratories.
Expand CDC sentinel surveillance programs and other surveillance programs so that we can offer tests not only only to those who ask but also to those who may not know to ask, especially vulnerable populations like nursing home patients and people with underlying medical conditions. This must be done in collaboration with private sector health care entities.”

When John Bell said the other day there were lfts which was very promising and highly specific ‘because of these reagents’ he was NOT speaking of antibodies imo.

It all fits, just a matter of sorting the manufacturing process and all the other elements of the supply chain. Add in the hundreds of millions of funnels for rapid covid testing the government has ordered and its hard to see what else this is all geared towards.

Many very angry people here yesterday despite being told it will be q4 and that we will be told when the 10k batch is ready, at which point you will be given far more clarity over the timeline to market.

Volume is 5-7m per month and is being scaled up dramatically. Moonshot demand is 100m+ per month (from horses mouth at labroots).

Now despite all the moaning (yes the product is late, get over it) they army have what looks like a very impressive structure in place.

We know bams is currently in validation (see teaboy post of the actual photos on twitter). That will further support the sp.

So when we are ready to rock and rock it won’t take long. We have the infrastructure, we have the gov backing, the contracts being awarded show gov are clearly prepared to fund part of the process for the likes of Abingdon and BBI. The contracts and money spent is huge. Cases are 400-500 per day. The lunatic that is trump is about to be replaced by a man whose first priority is rapid testing. Meanwhile trump’s chief of staff has covid and was spreading it around at the party (knowingly).

Everything is there. We just need the 10k batch. And that is anything from a few days to a few weeks away.

The likes of older and wiser who love a moan are out, want in again and clearly terrified at the prospect of this bolting. Which it will.

Had another listen. Very interesting at 48.5 which I had not noticed last time.

Alastair says ‘capacity is between 5-10m per month’.... ‘without giving anyway anything commercially sensitive’.... that is a VERY odd comment. BBI and Abingdon capacity is not sensitive information. So why add ‘without giving away...’ that, in my view, can only be a reference to the government procuring BIVDA capacity on behalf of avacta which was ongoing at the time of this q&a.

David Wilson at labroots said they would roll out over next few months.

They are focused on the gov contract not commercial opportunities elsewhere so to my mind there is good reason for the U.K. only focus at this stage (I.e. worth their while).

You either trust the ceo and commercial director and buy/hold for what will be a very valuable
novel product.

Or you don’t trust them to deliver (you don’t believe them when they say it works) and you sell.
