CHK1 will get to PIII. We might be in PIII by the end of next year. TYK2? who knows? This is the SAR board and I don't care what the competition is doing. If IMM crack lupus, good luck to them. No one else has managed anything that really works, no cures, just treatments. Still a massive market to enter and still worth pursuing for SAR.

If SAR were at the end of PIII i'd expect our MC to be �200 mil and i'd be in at a 0.74 average so there would be quite a lot of us here risking losing huge amounts of money if we were in the same position. We have to wait for efficacy. That will be a game changer if it comes. I'll get some beer with my popcorn, that should wash down those pesky husks. I don't care which way it goes. If they crash and burn, it's good news for SAR and Lupus. If they rocket on good news, it will prove that an AIM company can actually get a drug approved and some profits might come this way. TYK has multiple potential uses BTW. Lupus is just one of them.

I Have been watching IMM very closely for the last few weeks. Not because I want to buy in. It's more to do with gaining an insight into what happens around PIII trials. We could be in that position by the end of next year and it would be nice to have something to compare it against. There are a lot of posters over there that aren't sure of their investment and there are some that are taking advantage of this so tensions are getting fraught. I read Thoths posts and if it were any other time, they'd just be seen as normal postings and opinion. They have their own experts on the company over there and they jump on anything they perceive as being factually incorrect. I know one thing though. if we were at a �200 mil MC, I don't think i'd risk losing all my profit. Even luke warm news will see the SP crashing. Now, where is my popcorn?

I find it difficult to believe that big pharma doesn't know who we are. There will be a scramble to buy us when/if efficacy is shown in any of the compounds. we're not the only bio minnow with promising drugs and they can't buy them all.

Yes, all correct just pointing it very rarely moves. Not when you compare it to what happened to HEMO, VAL or PYC recently. I'd be retired now if I had the amount invested here in PYC instead and that was on the back of a 500k deal. I know it's all about market cap, shares in issues et.. but..

To be fair though Afham. People say it moves but it very rarely does. It only spiked to 1.6 on the chk1 deal and then rapidly fell back in a week or two. I can't remember the last time this really moved. Even the 10 out 10 event was over as quickly as it came. I'm not sure many got out @5p I know I couldn't, it was 2.5 before I could sell. Still a profit but not massive. My biggest profit here was buying at 0.2 and buying all the way to 1.2 before selling out. Profit wise, That was a 3 bagger. I've missed a couple of 10 baggers and loads of 3ish baggers on shares I've been watching because I had too much tied up here.

Actually, when the 10p party was considered there was probably half the amount of shares in issue. So 20 is the new 10.

Actually, Jimi. Your analogy is quite good but you missed out the regular maintenance to keep the ferrari in mint condition. Without that the car falls to pieces and is worth nothing and not every model is a future classic. Replace the maintainence with placings and share options plus the fact that the drugs might not work and you get your potential classic.

Have to agree Lulu. We can see the light now and I don't want to see the tunnel get even longer. IMO, we're looking at post 2020 as it is. The company would have to go through a major restructure to become a profitable drug discovery company. Let's package the science up and sell it off to the highest bidder.

You know what turns me off? the fact that an RNS is released stating a change of director. Nothing wrong with that but why do they need to state the huge figures. Just tell us what his experience is. HEMO don't need rampers, they are quite happy to ramp themselves. and that raises a red flag for me. Probably worth a short term punt though.

Aber - think you'll be ok. Today's rise may be a bit of speculation based on the report that Thoth found. Next key date is the presentation on the 17th I think. Then it's back to sleep until the summer.
