This is the thing puzzling me. The money is there now and I'm pretty sure our TYK2 would be granted some of it. I want to think the lack of progress is because we are already progressing in the background but Tim's closing line in the presentation seems to suggests he wants to hears from potential partners.

The presentation isn't aimed at Frank sat with his laptop on his knee, biscuit crumbs stuck in his lockdown beard whilst watching Netflix. It's aimed at partners who have scientists in R&D divisions who understand what Tim is talking about.

It always does my head in when people on here think that they're gonna hear some fantastic news from a conference or AGM. News is NEVER released that way. It can only be released to the market via an RNS. We already knew what was in Tim's presentation because they released it beforehand. If you thought Tim was going to announce a deal, you're an idiot. I'm invested here with about 18k of my own money and i'm happy with my investment more than I've ever been. We have 4 active compounds. News from 3 of them could come at anytime, literally. Each one of those has the potential for us to hit 2 or 3p and that is just the start. The only thing puzzling me is. There are grants available for Covid, I'm pretty sure we'd awarded one for our TYK2. Tim saying, hit me up if you want to partner us kind of says we have got or applied for the grants? Do we have any potential Covid partners or not?

Also its a government backed study. The US, understandably, wants to get it's people back to work. A government backed panacea will give the people confidence. I expect Trump will massively back this drug now.

Probably not. the door is wide open for other treatments. Going on the numbers quoted. There will still be a lot of people who will get serious complications. It dropping because it's AIM. The traders on AIM aren't bothered if the product is actually any good. They just follow the cash.

A new drug has been added to the UK Recovery Trial. This is the trial that has 6000 patients already enrolled and they are hoping for that to rise to 12000.

Are you sure that's not just your confirmation bias kicking in? Covid was new in Nov. Are you saying they started negotiations as soon as they heard about it. Seems far fetched. We've got a shelved compound licenced, whatever its for, that's good enough for me.

Interesting. It says the deal was negotiated in less than six months which is before Covid kicked off. Dies this mean that Covid isn't the target? It could be now though. Its a wait and see.

Drugd in trial

A range of potential treatments have been suggested for COVID-19 but nobody knows if any of them will turn out to be more effective in helping people recover than the usual standard of hospital care which all patients will receive. The RECOVERY Trial will begin by testing some of these suggested treatments:

Lopinavir-Ritonavir (commonly used to treat HIV)
Low-dose Dexamethasone (a type of steroid, which is used in a range of conditions typically to reduce inflammation).
Hydroxychloroquine (related to an anti-malarial drug)
Azithromycin (a commonly used antibiotic)
Tocilizumab (an anti-inflammatory treatment given by injection)
Data from the trial will be regularly reviewed so that any effective treatment can be identified quickly and made available to all patients. The RECOVERY Trial team will constantly review information on new drugs and include promising ones in the trial.
