Drugd in trial

A range of potential treatments have been suggested for COVID-19 but nobody knows if any of them will turn out to be more effective in helping people recover than the usual standard of hospital care which all patients will receive. The RECOVERY Trial will begin by testing some of these suggested treatments:

Lopinavir-Ritonavir (commonly used to treat HIV)
Low-dose Dexamethasone (a type of steroid, which is used in a range of conditions typically to reduce inflammation).
Hydroxychloroquine (related to an anti-malarial drug)
Azithromycin (a commonly used antibiotic)
Tocilizumab (an anti-inflammatory treatment given by injection)
Data from the trial will be regularly reviewed so that any effective treatment can be identified quickly and made available to all patients. The RECOVERY Trial team will constantly review information on new drugs and include promising ones in the trial.

Doesn't mention any company. 5 drugs being tested across 6000 randomised patients. Think these are existing drugs that are being repurposed. Pretty sure I read Remdisivir is on of them or is that another trial?

Not really. RNS not showing on PYC but they've had one today stating they are attending Bio Trinity just like SAR. Didn't stop the SP going mental.

RNS's aren't showing a few companies i've looked at. Must be LSE.

Interesting? its bizarre!! Hemo 10 bagging, PYC up 60% neither have Covid treatments or even the potential for a treatments, FFS, the PYC rns only mentions it. A bit cyinical of the board to stick that in the RNS (placing?) but I know a couple here will be happy with the rise. :-) I suspect, There is going to be a painful retrace in both when the volume drys up.

Been on my watchlist since they came on AIM. Didn't want to commit to another long term wait but still got RNS alerts setup. Have they been flagged with the Twitter pump and dump gang? Weird but yes. Send the herd this way when the time comes? They might actually get some share that are worth something.

Up 125% today. Is that just on the humanised mice for Covid? Doesn't make sense that we have risen 25% with a potential treatment and they have gone 5 fold in the last couple of months because they have some mice ready for testing on. Am I missing something??

Even if the Covid thing amounts to nothing. The fast track option it will give SDC1801 will be amazing. We could sail through PI and PII before the end of this year and with that will come major rerates.

Price can't go up without sellers. we need buyers and sellers for a steady rise. Or something tangible like an upfront for a deal that just rerates us.

Thanks Utar. This is why I asked the question. If things go well and compounds progress. The potential and size of milestones will increase. At some point as the milestone cash builds up, it has to filter down to the shareholders? As Tim once said an upfront payment could be multiples of current market cap. Just trying to work out what that means for us shareholders.
