I think the problem for the investors is the complete silence fits both narratives, good and bad. There are things they could use to show that's its business as usual. TM in Vienna, the 737 article that krone found, could have been acknowledged via X or linkedin. IMC answers as PC states. The fact we aren't seeing even to smallest amount investor engagement smells fishy to me. I'm optimistic here but dreading a Friday afternoon RNS too. The AGM will need to come with an update, even if it's the blurb we usually get. The AGM never works for me but I do hope some of the seasoned posters here can give Parker a hard time. IMO, there is little to no value attributed to SRA737 in Sareums share price. Efficacy in monotherapy wasn't great. Again, my opinion is that Sierra struggled to raise the funds to progress 737 because of the short patent life. It was clear (with the price that GSK offered for Sierra) that they didn't want 737 either. It was also in their interest to use up a couple more years of the patent before handing it back. Fun fact, I posted these views that GSK would hand back 737 just after the news was released. The post is still there if you care to look. As with all compounds. The value is in the patent. If the patent can be extended the value increases. Sareum aren't in the business of taking drugs to market. And compounds increase in value as they progress through trials until they succeed or fail. Sareum don't need 737 to get to market. They just need a pharma who believes the is a good chance it can. A phase 3 ready compound, in most indications. Would be worth between £500 million and a billion (or more). A discounted offer at phase 2 readiness would probably be on the hundreds of millions rather than 10's of million. An onlicense would apply backend bio bucks of up to a billion with 5 to 10 million up front.

Again though. This valuation would depend on how many years of patent protect there is.

Could be a tenuous link or the plot could be thickening.

Perhaps there is a new patent angle with the cardiac studies? I honestly think if 737 was picked up and funded properly, it could be worth £800 million within a couple of years.

I am frustrated as anyone but im not sure what posters here want the board to do? We know they hope to start a new Tox study 'early' next year. In the meantime, there are a couple of minor bits of news we could get. P1 published data manuscript and the Receptor AI data but they aren't going to move the dial much so what else are posters here expecting?

I've bought recently because the complete silence could also mean good news. Id agree with the low ball takeover but as we have never had an official offer put to the vote. I guess the board are giving out a figure that they would recommend to shareholders. The PI's must still have the majority vote or we would have seen some offers. If the Tox study starts in Jan and progresses without issues. We are back on track to a minimum £500 million valuation, IMO. I'm building two pots. One that i will hold and another to hopefully trade myself to a free ride. You can only do that if you buy at the bottom.

Not a revolt. Just shareholders reading the RNS and then thinking something else. IMO the board have been really clear. They can't give reassurance to the shareholders until the Tox study is run again. We have been given an aspirational start date and we know it will take 6 months before we will see the data. The AI studies looking for compounds that could potentially cross the BB barrier is very early discovery work. At best, the findings will be a bit of sizzle for when the company is hopefully sold. 737 is a conundrum but the main question is does the potential out weigh the cost to push through trials? I honestly don't know but for now, there is no value assigned to 737.

The halting of the Tox study was a massive spanner in the works and it may change the direction the board were steering the company. Like it or not, it added another year to the wait. And that might be the breaking point for the board and the shareholders. I see my investment here as binary now. Total loss against an offer for the company. My only real criticism is lack of PR. Jeez, a photo of TM actually talking to delegates at bio Europe would do. The fact we don't see anything makes me nervous. The buzz around the company has almost disappeared. That's worrying.

When it comes to crossing the BB barrier, Sudo bio are at least 2 years in front of Sareum and that's if we had unlimited funding. Not saying they won't get there but we've got to be realistic. Say the AI study gives us good data in January, then we need pre clinical studies and a phase 1 trial. 2 years is very optimistic.

Whilst I would've liked the board to buy shares after the final results were announced. I do see the risk here and understand why they wouldn't buy until certain that the failure wasn't 1801 and can be fixed in a future trial.

Even though, I fully expect to wait until the end of this year for any news. The calm does feel strange and let's face it. SAR does have a habit of dropping good news to break the silence. It's the anticipated updates that are always negative.

I'm thinking if Sareum can extend the patents for any reason. It stops pharma just sitting it out until the compound is no longer exclusive. Sareums value in 737 is the patent protection. As soon as that runs out. If it isn't partnered. There is no value to Sareum. The science might be outstanding but worthless to Sareum in terms of monetary value. I feel an update on 737 could clear this up.

A quick Google search gives the below patent granted I'm 202. Looks to cover parp. Question is goes this extend the patent life of 737? Question for the board I think.

I do have some sympathy for the board. Despite planning against it and paraphrasing Parker. They do seem to trip over a lot of rocks. IMO, we aren't in a position to do any deals right now. Unless the Tox study halt was a clear cut cause. Infection in the lab or something? No pharma is going to do a deal until the Tox study is completed. June 26 minimum. For 737, who knows? I reckon they have capacity to work on both at the same time. In the meantime, it doesn't mean the board cant give us snippets of good news though. P1 manuscript published etc. TM us at bio Europe this week. Maybe a selfie will appear on x or linked in.
