Personally, I think 3 years is more likely, Warthog. I think there area few things to consider and we have to assume there are zero setbacks but we won't dwell on that.
License\deals - IMO, once we get a license for 1801, that will put all dreams of a takeover to rest. It will likely signal that 1802 will be licensed too, possibly to the same pharma. At this point Sareum will be a bona fide clinical-stage pharma and shareholders will have to wait for the trials to progress.
Trials - If everything goes to plan, 1801 P1b will start in 2024 which means we may not get a readout until 2025 which would put the end of P2 into 2026, maybe even 2027 for the data readout. 5 years or a clinical in human trials would be rapid by any pharma standard. But let's just dream it could happen, we would be talking 2028/29 for market approval. Forget all the I've been here 10 years rubbish, the real test started this year, 2023! and if you managed to buy in at this low rate. You saved yourself 10 years of having to come here everyday ha ha.
The good news is, once we get a license and again, assume everything goes to plan. The market cap will rise with every milestone reached. We should be nearing a billion valuation by the time 1801 is in P2, 2 billion if the trial goes well and there is an indication that it will progress into P3.
The last thing to consider is a buyout. I still think we could get a buyout offer but the window of opportunity shrinks as we get nearer a licence deal. I also think there may be an option to sell our share of 737 to make things neater.
I still think that 737 was meant to pay for 1801 and 02. IMO that's how we got the HNWI, it's why the board were not issuing speeding tickets when we almost 10 bagged, they knew something and for whatever reason. It didn't happen. I guess we will never find out but IMO, 747 was going to be the catalyst to drive Sareum to new highs. I also think that 737 may be an intrinsic part of ongoing discussions with potential partners.
As for no delays to 1801. Not to be negative, but it will be the first time ever, if there aren't any delays. I'm not too worried as I think we will have a licence by the time any delay rears it's head.
Ahfam, that's my point. To say it was the only option isn't a good thing. A company with a compound in clinical trials and the only option for funding was a dilutative placing with me limits on how low the sp can go to plus it being weighted in favour of those loaning the cash so much do that they can't lose, no matter how low they drive the sp down? Does that not raise a red flag for you? I'm not annoyed they took the facility, the company has to survive. I'm annoyed that the so called experienced board let themselves get into a situation where the lender holds all the cards and the investors can't do a thing about it.
Yes, It would be nice if we could get a running commentary on the facility. Just how much of the initial 2 million have they managed to claw back? 20k shares sold a day is 20 weeks. IMO, I dont think they have got rid of the first lot yet, and they certainly haven't recouped their cash. If it carries on as it has done. We could be diluted by 5% or more by the time they get their cash back. It goes against all my instincts but the only way to beat that dillution is to buy more shares but that's a stupid idea.
Nope, Carter. It's just some days you agree with what I say and some days you dont. I believe that one day, if all goes well, sareum could have a 2 billion valuation but I also know, as does SOG, and other esteemed posters here know, the probability of sareum getting that far are slim. This isn't negativity, it's drawn from years worth of companies trying and failing to bring a new drugs to matket. The other knowledgeable posters here have a plan, just as I do but for that plan to work, you need others to believe in the first part, the dreamers with faith in the company. Cynical, yes but that's how the markets work. For every winner selling at an all time high. There is some shmuck who just bought at an all time high.
On your strategy of selling a big chunk on licence news. I think most experienced investors/traders here will be doing the same. There will be a huge spike that more new punters will jump on, followed by a big retrace. And the cycle will continue. The joys of AIM.
you missed a bit out sog. we could see the 40's and 30's again but in the meantime, 737 news could come at anytime. that's why i'm holding. still doesn't mean i can't be a bit ****ed at the situation. i'm buying up small amounts whenever i can. these are me new trading pot.
I just said I changed, nothing to do with selling. It's to do with the difference in what the RNS have said in the last 5 year and what has actually happened. I still stand by my 2 billion valuation if 1801 successfully gets to the end of p2. Nothing, I repeat, nothing said on here will make any difference. And why wouldn't I stick up for someone who called it right? I should have listened to him, I read the RNS, thought it was 💩 but didn't have the conviction to do something. That's on me, not Puma. If the sp gets to 38p, and it could. That's where I was 5 years ago. Imagine not bring a little annoyed at the board. Anyway, I'm off to do some work, now where are my rose tinted spectacles.
Aber, I think the board have shot themselves in the foot in term of bringing in investment. SOG, probably the best poster on here, is right. We need the safety data before anything tangible happens. That or some news on 737. Until then, we are at the mercy of RF.
Absolute rubbish, One. There you go. Trying to insinuate that I have an agenda to do what, discredit? Who cares what I think? No one.
I was once a believer and yes, I traded and was open about it. Ask Laz how many shares he sold. Way more than me.
It's a market, we are all here to make money. If someone makes the right call and make money but I lose. Good on them. Everyday is a school day. Learn from it.
I've nothing against Ahfam or Puma. Just noise until a deal is made. Belief in the science did help at VAL, IMM, Hemo, PYC but you will still find the believers over on those boards. I too, topsliced. Not a massive amount but more than enough to cover my initial stake. That doesn't make the pill any less bitter that I once had a comfortable 6 figure profit here with the board confident it was going to stay that way. They even convinced some HNWI to buy in at that price. As for talking it down, if the company is in such a state that a bit of negativity from the shareholders can bring it down. That should be a massive red flag to any serious investor.
I do this often, go to some other share boards, ones you aren't invested in. Read the posts about keeping the faith, believe, hope. It's like some dystopian propaganda advert. You will find your Puma's and your Ahfams there, literally saying the same things like there is some sort of phrase book they use. It doesn't help anyone. It's just a comfort blanket or a way to release anxiety for the readers. If you like it that way, great but don't fight with the opposite view because they could well be right.
Weird comment, Laz. Why does Ahfams day have to come? Does he deserve some sort of prize for not getting it right over and over? What about Puma? Has his day come? I mean, he did get if right, so we should thank him, yes? The RNS today is good news, another milestone reached but it also reiterates the timelines we are on and there are no shortcuts on safety. When the data is in the the deal is, done. It won't have anything to do with what Puma, Ahfam or anyone said on here. It will be the science and the boards deal making skills. So with that said isn't that where we should be looking when things aren't going the way they told us it would? The RF facility is a bad deal for investors. Saying it was the only option isn't the flex some here think it is. This was our boards only option and I'm willing to give them the benefit of doubt but they are the ones in control here. Win or lose, it's on them. Not Ahfam or Puma or MHRA or Covid etc. etc. I don't think a bit scrutiny and focus on the board is a bad thing right now.
I don't think I do anything more that sit on the fence but as long as you are happy for a potential 40 or even 30p. Your won't be too disappointed. The RF facility is structured in a way that that they can't lose, no matter how low the sp goes. If you think that is negative then🤷🏻♂️
Aber - this, exactly. I'm not sure why people are mad at Puma for basically getting the call right. And even if he has made money shorting it, good. At least someone is. Our late great Thoth used to do the same as puma on other boards. Listening to thoth, saved me cash on 2 occasions. Some posters here get too entrenched in their view of SAR. So much so that it clouds their judgement and they end up sidingg with those that have the same view. Worse though. They attack the ones that are calling it right.
I'll say it again, the only posters that have got predictions right since summer 2021 are the so called wombles. The rerate boy have been wrong over and over.
I'm holding here because there is no point selling now but strangely, I think the risk of failure for financial reasons is higher than it has ever been. I'll say this again too. Not all failed AIM companies had a failed product. Some were just mismanaged into obscurity. I predict a long painful winter. Hopefully with something really positive to report in spring.
I've been in a p2 share that gif not meet primary endpoint. 90% value gone in 1 day, not good. I also watched the IMM saga unfold after the late Thoth says they had messed up the trial design up. He got called all the names others get called here. I listened but others didn't and lost big time. Truth is that although their intentions might be scetchy, there is usually dome truth or reality to the cashers claims. As the RF facility has shown here. My advice is to have your own plan and stick to it.
I understand why some may think Parkers tweet is cynical but rules around what you can and can't say in public are strict. He said they were having Sareum PLC meeting whilst in Munich. I believe him. However, the meeting could be about who cleans the office in Pampisford and it still would be true. Personally, I'm choosing to think the meetings are something that will progress the company.
