Last week, I noticed that the spread suddenly increased from around 4% to 12% at around 4pm. I could find nothing to explain this. I couldn't see any significant sales, but I can only assume that a major seller appeared out of nowhere and the MMs acted upon this.

With regard to the water content, should this not be tested at the mine prior to loading the trucks? Once loaded, the trucks should also be covered to prevent water from entering. If we ship 30,000 tonnes and 10% of that is water, then effectively, we have shipped 3,000 tonnes of water. This equates to 50 tonnes per truckload, which is equivalent to 60 unnecessary truckloads, resulting in financial waste.

Does Grammarly.com mine spodumene? Or does it mine gravel?

The price of spodumene has increased by 200% since the summer, but our SP has barely moved. Are we mining spodumene or gravel?

I'm feeling pretty optimistic, too. I don't think what's going on here is right and I can see it taking off. I'm not sure when that will happen, but it will happen soon.

It is somewhat perplexing that the price of spodumene has increased by almost threefold since the summer months last year, yet our share price has remained relatively stable. As a mining company that now exports spodumene, you would expect our share price to reflect this increase in value, but it has not.

And Kod are only down 65% so i suppose we are better than Prem who's down 95%

It appears that investors with a focus on lithium may be allocating their capital to companies such as Hainan Mining Co. Ltd. (601969), while little Kod is not being given the attention it deserves.

I have just checked the share price of Hainan Mining Co Ltd (601969). At its lowest point in mid-2025, when spodumene prices were at their lowest, the share price was 6.80 CNY. Today, it is 11.71 CNY. It appears that Hainan is performing well and attracting buyers. Its share price has increased by 75%, whereas Kod's share price has remained static.

Patience is key in the stock market — it has no time for wimps. However, as a Kod LTH holder, I am beginning to feel as though I am on a ghost train at a fairground.

Could someone please clarify why the rising spodumene price is having no impact on our share price?

It is noteworthy that a $1 decrease in the Spod price results in a 4% decline in our share price. However, should the Spod price increase by $105 (7%), our share price will remain unchanged. Our average sale price of 0.030 pence is essentially unchanged from when the Spod price was $650. The Spod price is now $1,640, yet this has had no effect on Kod's share price.

I'm still optimistic about Kod. I believe we are grossly undervalued, but I'm confident that our time will come. However, as I said in a previous post, we need clarity. We need to know what grade of ore they are using to test the process. Have they moved to processing a higher grade of ore? If not, will they be doing so soon? What about impurities, and what price will we be paid? Will we receive the current spot price for spod, or will Hainan continue to receive the 25% discount that was applied to our first shipment?

However, the spod price at the time of shipping was $1,180 and our grade was 5.39%. Therefore, we should have received $1,026. Yet we only received $770. I believe this low payment is responsible for our low share price and has destroyed any momentum.

Our next shipment will be ready within six weeks. We urgently require clarity on the following: what is the floor price? Which grade will we be producing? And how much will we be paid for our spodumene?

I don't know how much shipping costs, but diesel is cheap when it's tax-free and Hainan has its own fleet of ships. Last week, I received a quote to ship 30,000 tonnes of iron ore from Mali to China, which came to $440,000. The company's share price does not reflect its true value.

The spodumene price today is $1,434, but that is for 5.5–6.2% concentrate. As we produce at 5.39%, our price today should be around $1,246, and our ASIC is $647. This should give us a profit of $600 per tonne, multiplied by 125,000, equalling $75 million (£56 million).
