When viewed in the context of the company's financial health, the $15 million loan is relatively minor. However, it is important to note that, in general, the situation is deteriorating. We are now a mining company exporting spodumene. While the value of spodumene (SPOD) is increasing, the value of our own (SP) is decreasing.

We are miners now. I still think our SP should be somewhere between 0.0048 and 0.0060. Given what we are producing, our SP of around 0.0030 is just too low.

Our partner Hainian converts our spodumene into lithium hydroxide.

For spodumene with a lithium content of 5.39%, you'd require approximately 6.5 to 8.5 tons of spodumene to obtain 1 ton of lithium hydroxide, depending on extraction efficiency. As of December 15, 2025, the price of lithium hydroxide is approximately $10,442.53 per ton.

The chef has been criticising Kod and Bernard relentlessly since at least 2020. That's the earliest I can remember. Whatever his reason — perhaps he was an early investor in iron ore in Norway and is unhappy about dilution, who knows — he's clearly very angry with them.

I believe you will find that the majority of us are still present, although we have little to contribute. The SP's recent performance has been below par, which has led to a decline in positive commentary. I am a member of the Twitter group, and even there, there has been very little discussion of the matter.

That's a good question, Chef Blooger. I noticed it myself right away — I wonder if Bernard did too. Is the pit actually flooded? If not, wouldn't it have been better not to show the photograph at all? It's an odd photograph to include.

What we really need is for the price of spod to continue to increase at the rate it has over the last month or so. If it does, we will all do OK.

Momo... Your post was an absolute pleasure to read, especially compared to the usual drivel posted on this forum. However, it was reported and removed. Could you rewrite your post? Could you use $24m instead of £24m and 5.39% instead of 6% spodumene this time?

BFD........I can assure you there's no confusion. I'm simply stating a fact as I see it. And i'm not a troll. I know some of my fellow LTH have seen today's spod price of 6% at $1,190 and are wondering why we're only getting $930 per tonne, even though the market value is $1,060 for spod with a percentage of 5.39%. This means there is a clear difference of $130 per tonne. This will result in a shortfall of $3,770,000 for 29,000 tonnes.

The confusion surrounding costs, prices and final values unnecessarily dampened what should have been a terrific RNS. The wording regarding costs, i.e. shipping costs and other unknown costs, could have been clearer. Also, which spod price are we getting: Chinese or African? The RNS should have explained the costs and prices more clearly, rather than just stating the value as $930 per tonne.

I guess they could be getting the African spod price for 5.39% – that might explain the decrease in what we've received, if that's the case. Then again, I'm not really sure. To be honest, I haven't got a clue!

Although the sp might not have responded as we expected, today is still a very good day.............

It is also evident that since 4 November 2024, each successful RNS has been accompanied by a decline in share price.

It is unfortunate that an otherwise excellent RNS has been marred by absurdity. As the old saying goes,

“Never ruin an apology with an excuse.”
