AND that was when we were expecting a good deal to be negotiated by the BOD ideally with a major for 201 - then we find the deal is done with a start up that hasn't got a pot to pee in and later discover that Valrix hasn't even been paid the $10k per month service fees which they later claim was a figure "plucked from the air" yet it was stated in the CENKOS published investment notes.

Anyhow GLA, they strengthen the Board to avoid making similar mistakes going forwards and I will consider adding. Until then wait to see how events unfold but im not deluded like some into thinking this isn't a VERY long term play. Its going to take time and further investment to get to where they need to get to. DYOR

You are a cheeky sod, you will be the first to bin a block of stock should this get to 14p/15p to de-risk. You have done it before and anyhow, the market cap could well fall back to £7m again short term and you know it, 7p, especially if THX takes another 6 mths to get funded.

Further, you yourself agreed that the board needed bolstering. Now you have added at 10p I'm an idiot for insisting the board be bolstered and additions made before I invest further. 5mins ago you were telling me Suzy was clueless, make your mind up.

Agree @Iceman that no one person can influence a SP unless they BUY or SELL loads of the stock.

@PM2022 you can't possibly say to SH that downside is restricted to 20% and upside is 6 times. IF no changes are made to the board and THX cant raise any cash they will need a new partner, end of, in which case a further raise further down the line could well be likely for working capital, let alone for the new lab. Be real.

Penny Shares are High Risk there is equal risk of downside to upside, you can't spin that.

IF i want to buy a chunk of these now i could, its that simple. I could add £150ks worth immediately. If i wanted to add 300-600k i would need to do it later to avoid an unbalanced portfolio. For example i'm not selling GOLD to add here, i take risks but they are calculated and only what i can afford to risk but that's my business anyhow and you can think what you like in that regard.

I know what i want to see and that's the BOD strengthened but not sure they will do that? I hope they do but many are ignoring this point despite many calling for changes at the time of the AGM. Now some added at 10p its being ramped to death again yet nothing has changed.

Currently the bit you are NOT accepting is that there are loads of stocks at the moment materially undervalued especially in the biotech sector and funding of new ventures still remains an issue.

As for Adam being CEO don't be so ridiculous. He is a great guy and brilliant SH liaison but he wont be the next CEO of Valirx, i doubt he would want the job for one thing and Suzy is more than capable as CEO anyhow, she just needs board support and this is my MAJOR gripe, i want to see that BOD strengthened so that the same mistakes of the past are not made again.

As for THX and funding, I stand by my previous comment; IF that twitter merchant is genuine and i am 100% certain its a P&D attempt, and THX secured 225m funding last Friday and an RNS is going to land before the end of the week, i will show my ars@ in Poundland's Window - you can await the photo.

In the purpose of good spirit i will leave you to continue ramping but more investors know the score here...

Directors brought 32.5k of stock between the four of them t 10p to support the placing. That's 325,000 shares. They are shortly about to update us on 6.5m of options we supported.

Jeeze, there is ramping and there is extreme ramping, and I should know :)

1. IF THX ever get funded it WON’T be for 225m as that would make it possibly one of the highest ever funded start ups in the US FACT. It will be aiming significantly lower which is fine but let’s be realistic here.

2. The moment the SPV gets ANY funding secured Suzy will be the first to know and will update shareholders. The news won’t be via some BS P&D merchant on Twitter. Also, it’s been 9mths and frankly likely to take a number of weeks more yet that’s IF it can secure funds at all. IF it were this soon, they wouldn’t have needed to do a discounted placing. Patience required.

IF THX can’t raise funds an alternative partner will need finding. No RNS this morning after the BS merchant told everyone to Buy as it was done on Friday. That was clearly a lie. IF VAL pull out of THX the SP will take another hit. The twitter post is Utter P&D nonsense.

3. The business has 2.5m of cash and burning cash at the rate of 105k a month. When it finds a lab that will also need funding either by more shares or debt. So, the SP has equal chance of going up or down, its speculative. Just because it does a cheap placing doesn’t mean the SP will immediately fly. These things take time. Many bios are trading at less than their cash value. So, there is as much chance of 90% downside as there is 90% upside.

4. Talk of the three Uni projects is great but we are probably 6 to 8 years off monetising those, they are not quick fixes. The triple neg product looks fantastic but we won’t see revenues from these for some time. This is fantastic for the long-term future of the business but doesn’t help short term. The lab is what we need now for generating regular revenues and getting the legacy products sorted out. That will require strong negotiation.

5. The SP prior to the placing had fallen to 10m mcap value but we only had 65m shares in issue. On the placing news we dropped to 7m mcap. We are now at 95m shares in issue with 6.5m of options still to be confirmed. So, the mcap now is back at 10m as it was before the placing despite 30% more shares in issue. I would say the 10.5p SP correlates to roughly to the same. You could argue that the SP has already gone up.

Much as some want quick fixes here this is a long-term play. It takes time and the markets remain ugly. Its how it is. The ramping crew here are getting well out of hand currently.

OK final post on this theme will agree to disagree

- If the funding was concluded on Friday we would know immediately. If THX had secured a whopping 225m investment it would be all over the weekend press. Be real. It would be possibly one of the largest placing for a Bio start up. WE would know about it.

- The moment any deal is done Suzy will be the first to know and will confirm same. She wont be sitting on the news she will tell us. So if they did it on Friday we can expect a 7.00am RNS Monday, in reality it will take time.

- There wont be a re-rate not at this point. What is there to re-rate on? Can i point out that the macp had reduced to £7m with 65m shares in issue at 10.5p prior to this placing and with the additional 25m shares issued has maintained the share price hence the mcap has now gone up to £10m. Not sure if all those new shares are tradable yet.

We can all agree about the low the mcap is but the entire sector is down, EVERY biotech you could say is cheap currently because the majority don't make any money and they eat cash on the way to commercialisation of a drug. Many are even trading under their cash value. VAL has now 2.5m of cash from the placing so it can continue trading this year BUT IT can only start making money much further down the line. It can happen but its a long term play as i see it.

When the lab deal gets sorted that can start making them revenue producing and hopefully avoid further dilution in the future which will be a good thing and obviously when the THX deal is also sorted, it will be a big plus and also help BUT as i say this is a long term play not a get rich quick.

Finally, we have all just watched 4D go from a £1.10 placing all the way down to 16p over a year and then lights out when it couldn't get more cash. It had 14 drugs at various stages including one awaiting FDA - say what you like about the running of 4D but the market is brutal frankly and there are no guarantees. They are not an isolated case.

Invest only what you can afford to speculate. I hold here and accept the risks. Lets see how it goes, catch up in a couple of weeks.

I have ample funds to buy more stock if i want it, i can also move portfolio assets around if i thought it strategically the right move. I don't. Mid August, i will have substantial capital available from an external business deal I'm closing so I could make a material investment move here if i thought it appropriate if the BOD is bolstered.

In the meantime, Fair enough, will catch up in another week or so. I genuinely don't want to p@ss SH off but this is a long term play, it will take time and comments on Twitter from a poster that "is going to be adding next week" are total BS and i will call it out as such:-

1. The moment THX secure capital Suzy will know about it and she will tell us via the RNS
2. IF THX had secured 225m as a start up led by Credit Suisse on Friday, not only would we already know about it from Suzy but frankly it would be all over the weekend press.
3. I repeat again, if you had "Inside Knowledge" on Friday a 225m deal had been inked, you would buy like a man possessed and then tell everyone about it. NOT, I'm buying soon.... Which were his buys on Friday... answers on a postcard... none

Only thing i don't get is why he is so keen to pump this for a quick gain so soon after the 10p placing,

IF THX already had the funds in, Suzy would issue an RNS confirming same and tell us they had been funded and it was just red tape now with legals final confirmation of draw down dates to be advised etc. She is not at that point yet IMO.

This is still work in progress and the I know for a fact the DD involved would be extensive. Also, I don’t doubt that Suzy has a fantastic working relationship with them.

There are a lot of mouths to feed in the Biotech sector, the sector is littered with casualties and there are loads of options and loads of stock going cheap. A start up like THX would find it really hard to secure funding if at all in current times. Hence, why we are 9mths in and nothing secured yet not even our service fees paid. It’s tough times.

Don’t get me wrong, I still have every confidence they could secure something but it wont be a quick fix, expectations need to be realistic and what that funding of THX might look like is anyone’s guess.

Lets see what next week brings and see how events unfold.

The placing only completed two days ago. If the deal was that imminent the discounted raise really would have been a stupid move.

Hey, I hope I'm proved wrong and look forward to the RNS on Monday confirming same so i can cash my 400,000 out at a premium. I will look forward to the RNS at open.

However, the poster claims its a 225m placing in France and then lists 10 investors backing it that add up to 244m - poster can't even add up.

Firstly, If the placing were in France it would be in Euros and secondly if they had secured 225m on Friday, Suzy would be singing like a bloody Canary and we would all know about it frankly and thirdly, I state again 225m raise for a start up would be really going it some in this market, hats off to them if that's the case but i just don't see it as realistic and finally, if THX were just one week off securing 225m no way on this planet would VAL pushed ahead with a heavily discounted placing at 10p.

I stand by my call that's its utter BS and will delight if proven wrong Monday.

Oh, come on you can distract the discussion with personal insults against me that’s fine, I’m thick skinned I can take it. But Fridays post by a fake scam account on twitter was a blatant attempt at a P&D. Bloody obvious in my opinion and you have to ask why? Clearly someone who wanted a quick bounce to cash out.

Now in the VERY unlikely event that I’m wrong and the account is genuine, we should see an RNS at open Monday telling us that THX raised 225m on the French market. If that happens, I will show my ars@ in poundlands window. That’s how unlikely that event is.

Not teaching granny to suck eggs for those in the know but I have 460 people following me in my network on Twitter and only follow 59 people made about 1500 tweets, it takes time to do that. The natural way to build a network takes time. Nick by comparison has 3,339 people in his network and follows 1,245 and has made nearly 10,000 tweets and been on twitter longer. Suzy has 535 people in her network, follows 253 and has made 257 tweets.

This poster who claimed to be a healthcare investment banker based in Switzerland on Friday had 40,900 followers, he follows just 18 and made only 49 tweets. So, you can tell almost instantly the account is a scam. He could not naturally secure that many follows with so few messages. Just not possible unless you are a rock star, someone famous or offer something very unique on Only Fans. LOL

Possible it was done because they were going to drop 500k of shares and were hoping some might buy into it to pump the price to improve on the 10.50 bid offered before they sold.

Realistically, IF THX can secure funding, it will more likely be lower level stuff. You do get some massive placings stateside but realistically for a start up they are going to be lower. The median round size, is around $17 million so that's about £14m sterling which would be more than ample and then look at follow on funding as events progress later.

Had the mischievous poster on Twitter gone for $20m not $225m it may have sounded more plausible

Anyhow, according to CENKOS report IF THX got funded then VAL can expect $2.2m over two years so that's about £1.8m which would be very nice towards the lab, thank you very much.

In reality THX don't actually need to raise that much to support this contract so it is surprising how long they are taking but conditions have not been kind to be fair.

BUT for a start up to secure 225m of funding i would be bloody amazed in this market. In fact i would say its beyond incredible. Hats off to them but cant see it. First round for a start up would be nothing like that high and it would be an IPO offering for sure at that level.
More likely a group of those in the 10p placing want a quick jump in the SP and concerned there might be short term drift whilst matters settle.
