Volume today is low but equally we not awash with selling, its all low level stuff. The smart money is on stock moving into sticky hands. Wouldn't be surprised if we climb higher this afternoon based on L2 activity

The fact here is that volume is reasonable for this stock. Also, its half term week and a lot of city investors are on breaks. Volumes will likely rise into next week as people return.

We are at a £34m mcap currently with deals that will come in at multiples of this amount, yet one poster thinks the mcap should reduce further to £26m mcap because that's their desired buy in price. Its utterly ridiculous.

I have green binned this poster but its not enough, they have insulted our CEO posted untrue facts to encourage sales they need to be removed fully from LSE imo.

I believe the consensus is that we think 201 could end up in the hands of either AstraZeneca or Merck, they do look like the likely contenders.

301 is with the unspecified Japanese bio but Mark kind of hinted he can consider other options, as its been over 18 months now you would think 301 would also be close.

Any other thoughts on other possible suitors, this field is really dominated by giants...

We have spent much time deliberating regarding what the 201 licensing deal for Prostate cancer may look like and I have every confidence this will make a material impact on the value here as discussed.

The market value size last year was $11.2bn USD and growing so the deal here should be sizable.

My gut feeling is that 201 will end up in the hands of either AstraZeneca or Merck. I could be barking up the wrong tree here. Suzy is probably laughing at me regarding this post if she sees it.

Equally however, it’s highly probable that 301 could also license within a very near timeline. Heck I wouldn’t rule out both 201 and 301 being taken on by the same partner. It is still a possibility. Mark has said they will review all options.

Meanwhile, the Endometriosis drugs market is just short of a $2bn USD market size with expected growth to $2.2bn by 2027 so we are looking at a serious chunk of change here also for a commercialised product, in this area

Endometriosis is a fairly common gynaecological condition and our 301 project has been under evaluation for over 18mths in Japan. Should the Japanese company decide to adopt 301 into their pipeline and we must be close now to some form of a decision, then there is potential for a global or regional licence deal.

Equally, if Mark secures better terms elsewhere then there is no guarantee 301 will go to the Japanese. It could end up with the same partner as 201 as I say.

It is Interesting that we are mentioned alongside some bloody big whales such as Pfizer and the Japanese Takeda Pharmaceutical Company as being at the forefront of the Endometriosis field. Although the market size potential is smaller than that of the Prostate Cancer drugs market, drugs competition is light. Ultimately the licensing deal with 301 will also likely be sizable.

The Deals on either 201 or 301 will firmly put Valirx on the map and a step change in the share price. IF both get secured, I wouldn’t rule out our SP quickly flying towards £3 or more. It really is that significant and this is before we even consider any of the others in the stable.

Still trending towards 80p peer average as we await the major news.

Plagued by de-ramping posts Wednesday by certain individuals trying to encourage retail to sell to gain a couple of pence discount off our already low £ 36m mcap value. Despite this we still added albeit a small amount. Volume 2.6m which for a half term holiday day for this stock wasn’t bad. Thursdays are generally a higher volume day so confident for today.

Despite our mcap value being so low, when a share price starts recovering its typical to see this tug of war with bears wanting the price to decline to get in cheaper and bulls expecting the price to go higher due to its undervalue.

Research shows that this happens because new investors can be cautious about buying where it’s perceived the price has already gone up (despite the shares being cheap due to the true value being materially undervalued) Psychologists call this anchoring. As humans, we tend to take our time when it comes to changing our opinions in the face of new information, even when it's good news.

Currently, the market is slowly starting to hear more about Valirx, and the information is spreading, the presentation still being syndicated, and investors are catching on.

Normally, this emotional tug-of-war often ends with a ‘new high’ with the stock drifting higher in price over the coming weeks and I’m confident we are going to see this here.

Obviously, when the contract confirmation does land, we should see a material step change in the share price anyhow.

There are some other catalysts for a further move north in the meantime, such as Suzy updating us on other projects, Biofunds taking an interest or gaining some positive coverage in the share publications or mainline media to create further awareness.

On balance, I remain incredibly bullish, I’m a buyer at this low mcap level and I’m sure many others will also see the strong risk/reward ratio at this point and also take a position. Once contract confirmation lands there will be a stampede for this stock but I would certainly like to see us trending at least in that peer average range before that happens.

Post the link to the FT article where it says the SP here is heading to 6p. I have never read such utter cr@p.
Further, any right minded analyst at the FT armed with the information here would not be advising that the SP is going to crash. Totally outrageous.
What is it with some of you so desperate to try and get a few pence off the share price to get back in?
Strap a pair on and buy or move to a stock you do want to buy.

When this is trading between its first and second pound are you really going to be bothered if you purchased stock at 55p or 60p, it wont matter, anything sub a quid is going to look real cheap soon.

I do post the information elsewhere, i am trying to introduce VAL to as many investor contacts as possible, if you google the company the LSE forum is right at the top of the list. Hence, new investors would likely visit here to investigate further.

If they arrive here to a flood of posts saying the share price is going to collapse and similar negative posts it could put off the very investors we are trying to attract.

Therefore, imo its essential that the information is quickly found. If i could stick it to the top of the forum i would. We are at £36m mcap for Pete's sake, nobody but nobody should be trying to deramp this stock from this low level base.

You may not agree with me but sentiment plays a VERY big part with AIM Stocks, a negative sentiment is off putting. To prove the point this forum was negative for at least a year, dwelling in negativity and complaining and nobody was interested. The share price coasted as a result. When the exceptional data came out on 201 and it really was good, the SP rallied to 80p BUT rather than get behind VAL and have confidence, the forum members continued to moan, those that had lost faith just cashed out and the rest is history.

That's all changing now, new investors are backing the company, a good percentage of the historic are now supporting, positivity is high, optimism is high and so it should be, we have loads to be positive about here.

Anyhow, close tonight still in the blue and onwards and upwards for tomorrow, one day closer to great news and a major rerate.

If the stock had 20x the market cap, it would most likely be already well placed.

The reason this is now attracting more interest is because more investors are finally discovering it and excited by the potential stratospheric rise from its low 36m mcap base.

It's all about risk/reward ratio, at this level it represents a corking opportunity imo....

Very Quick Synopsis:

An incredibly promising Biotech that accelerates the development of treatments in cancer and women’s health to improve patient lives.

They select and incubate promising novel drug candidates and guide them through an optimised process of development, from pre-clinical studies to clinic to investor-ready assets.

They do not YET have a commercially viable drug but have made significant progress developing both legacy and more recent drug candidates. They are on the cusp of licence deals being completed before the end of this year. The CEO in the Pod Cast with Zac Mir last Sunday confirmed that it will be announceable shortly hence, the increasing interest in the business and increased trading volumes.

The current drug stable includes:
* VAL401 lung/pancreatic cancer drug candidate
* VAL 201 prostate cancer drug candidate
* VAL301 endometriosis drug
* BC201 A Peptide repurposed for anti-inflammatory use
* Lastly, the company’s recent partnership with a London university has its triple-negative breast cancer drug under evaluation, after which Valirx could license the technology under pre-agreed terms.

The clinical results out last September for 201 were great and the recent presentation absolutely fantastic so its all looking good.

BC201 gets largely overlooked by shareholders but could also be a hidden gem. Data due any moment. It could prove to materially reduce long term Covid damage and/or Sepsis, One to watch:

As a bonus the share price at 53p represents a mere £34m Market Cap. The peer average at this point is £ 52m an 80p share price hence, the Biotech is materially undervalued, still +50% increase to go just to the average point plus the stratospheric rises on license terms expected. Also, we have three projects on the brink of licensing, just the one licence deal should come in at many multiples of the current market cap and see us firmly in the £1 to £2 range hence, all to play for.

It's a Red Hot Buy and one of the best risk reward investments on the AIM in my considered opinion but DYOR.

Oh and finally, least I forget, the CEO here is just amazing, new team, new ethos and really cares about the shareholders. Which is totally refreshing compared to others on AIM.

Nice steady buying and selling with trajectory North with volumes increasing. This will see us firmly move towards the 74p-85p Range - The peer average range. Peer Average is 80p representing a £52m Mcap.

The trial data for 201 alone was superb, it was proven to have a clear impact on patients with prostate cancer. The license deal on 201 will likely dwarf the current mcap of this business many times over.

For those not keeping up, In prostate cancer, the hope is that the 201 drug will be able to control tumours that no longer respond to other treatments like radiotherapy as well as androgen-inhibiting drugs like flutamide or bicalutamide. The prognosis for these patients is typically very poor, with less than half of them surviving beyond two years.

“Development of effective treatments with low-side effects for patients with prostate cancer who have relapsed after radiotherapy is essential and will improve the lives of patients during treatment,” said Professor Alan Boyd, who was the consultant pharmaceutical physician and medical monitor for the earlier study.

In addition 301 could also license anytime soon:-
It has the same peptide ingredient as 201 and is being investigated for the treatment of women with endometriosis in preclinical development, again another major advancing drug.

All to play for here as i see it, I am incredibly bullish.. the deal on 201 will take us well north of £1 a £65m mcap, if 301 concludes in addition before end of the year end then seriously £150m mcap is not impossible to imagine from here

I rarely post here these days but despite comments from some i consider myself well researched here having practically lived and breathed this company for almost a year. In answer to your question:-

Taken from annual report:-

"James Wakefield acts as Chairman of the Nomination Committee and its other members are Juliet Thompson and Dr Andrew Heath. All members of the Nomination Committee are considered independent. The Nomination Committee is responsible for identifying and nominating for the approval of the Board candidates to fill Board vacancies as and when they arise, and to ensure that the Board consists of members with the range of skills and qualities needed to meet its principal responsibilities in a way that promotes the protection of the interests of stakeholders and compliance with the requirements of the AIM Rules. The Nomination Committee will meet at least once a year and at such other times as the Chairman or any other member of the Nomination Committee requires."

AND

"The Remuneration Committee is chaired by Dr Andrew Heath, and reviews the performance of the Executive Directors, and determines their terms and conditions of service, including their remuneration and the grant of options, having due
regard to the interests of Shareholders. The Remuneration Committee meets at least twice a year. Dr Ed Snape and Juliet
Thompson are the other members of the Remuneration Committee. "

So Andrew Heath and Juliet Thompson were those responsible for setting up and residing over what ultimately resulted in the Obscene LTIP deal for Graham and Tony. AND the same two would also be responsible for the new appointments to the board including David.

Based on recent events and Grahams VERY poor handover not to mention his recent adverts for work on Linked-in it very much looks like he was pushed. If so, IMO Andrew and Juliet would have played a major part in that.

Incidentally note:-
James Wakefield is the highest paid and earns £ 90k pa and is now the biggest board shareholder with just 36,839 shares
Juliet Thompson earns £ 43.8k but has NO shares in the business at all
Andrew Heath also earns £ 43.8k and owns 20,000 shares
Ed Snape earns just £ 28k and has just 17,919 shares

Obviously, we are yet to find out what the remuneration and share deal is for David. Its highly unlikely it will be an LTIP arrangement. Now no staff in France a conventional salary and share grants/options package can be awarded.

For what it's worth, i believe that the appointment of David will make a MAJOR positive impact on the business going forwards. SH need to give the guy time to settle in.
