Thanks MK. I did in fact join in live and came away with masses of useful info but to me the following where the salient points that I,probably not everyone else, cared about. T9 td hopefully October with a swift move to already prepared T10. This is of course if not sold before hand-I say this as whilst they all said prefered option was to prove up basin and drill when I asked (paddy123) and I believe SO definitively asked them if they would sell on seismics they would not say NO only stressed their aim was to maximise shareholder value. Sidi in my view a red herring and someone else's problem ,hopefully, but of course nice to have. Luca,not sure if anything really going on there but we'll see. GSA the most important up coming news hopefully sometime in July. Morocco not an Algeria but we had been told that already. Partners apparently all still onside. So it's back to sit on hands and hope timeframes are kept this time.

How about this for a completely left field thought, the fund raise was an exercise to show a potential buyer that they have been talking to for a while to put up or shut up and tomorrow we get an offer and an FC’s to explain it.....nite all.

I still think this rns was aimed at potential buyers and there is a very good chance we will receive an offer without any further drilling. Whether this suits all shareholders looking for maximum value that could be achieved with a successful drill or it pleases those who are happy to be de-risked at a certain price remains to be seen and will and has been open to constant debate.
The argument that ,let us say Shell, will not put up any money on seismics alone don't hold water in my view as quite frankly they or any of the other"majors" are not the only potential buyers and some may well be prepared to take a view and buy into something at -let us say for arguments sake 3bn-rather than wait and find themselves in a bidding war starting at 5bn. the same principal applies to us PI's some are prepared to buy here and wait until the "LE" on the belief that the price on a successful outcome (bid or pre bid drilling) will be a lot higher. Those waiting to see if T9 is successful run the risk that they are losing 50-70pct potential profit.
Therefore a buyer taking a punt know is doing exactly the same thing except granted he will have to pay higher than current levels to secure his"punt" but might consider it a worthwhile risk-rather like paying a call option premium.
Finally we are all led to believe that Gas is the next big thing for 15/20 years and whilst this may not be Algeria status there can't be many onshore prospects, that are semi qualified, knocking around the world at the moment.

I know that we have covered this topic before but MM's do not care whether the market goes up or down as long as it moves they make their money on the spread, it is not their role to hold or short stock. Granted they may try an manipulate the price if they are working an order but that order is from their clients/corporate desk. The days of stock jobbers holding stock disappeared with Big bang in 1986. Can you imagine the capital requirements required by firms if their MM's all took positions in everystock they made markets in let alone the "risk" associated doing this. So please MM's provide a market that is primarily dictated by supply and demand. I speak with past experience. Now back to Sound great news but still believe the poss farm out of Sidi could be even as significant as to our future...let alone GSA and drill bit.......IF! lol

interesting to note that the 2x400,000 sell orders at 42p and the 200,000@44p which have been shown for the last 3 weeks aren't showing at the moment-not to say that they are not there in the background, however.

yup eric volume so thin it could even end up blue.I agree people can use L2 to play the market by pulling bids or offers to sucour people into trades they may not otherwise make dictated by emotion. Interestingly it is estimated that 15pct of all trades on the ftsie 100 trade in the "black market" trader to trader and only get reported at the end of the day normally only for larger trades and not sure about aim but JP 1m sale is an example perhaps.

L2 all day has been weighted on the sellside. There are a lot of ambiguous things debated on this BB and peeps can put a slant on things to suit there own agenda but L2 is black and white and what you see is there for everyone who has it. Yes it changes and yes it doesn't show the whole picture BUT it cannot be open to interpretation, it is what it is and yes you can trade it with a fair amount of confidence. Total sell have roughly outweighted buy by 5-1 all day

yup that would be nice, still a bit of and overhang on L2 without MM's 192264 on the buyside against 1100847 on the sellside including 2 orders of 400k and one of 200k but they have been hanging around for a few weeks now.
