Hi Billfish-many thanks and all very interesting. personally if TE10 flows commercially not really concerned about all the other semantics. if on the other hand it doesn't then not bothered either as it will be rather academic when considering any potential LE. I think we as PI's run the risk of trying to read to much into tomorrow,news,no news,gsa etc. The bottom line is have we unearthed flowing hydro carbons and if so will it temp someone to buy us outtright? Well that's my view and really all I care about.

The way I see it -which counts for zip-is that if TE10 is a rip roaring success or at least commercial then we will not drill TE11,someone else might but not us. I just don't buy this rig sitting around with no groundworks at the very least. Also if we end up drilling TE11 it does not fit in with JP's oft said mid year exit. But of course if TE10 dissappoints then TE11 is last throw of the dice-imho

CK1 , not perhaps to you and I but hopefully it does to those who are in charge. At the end of the day not only do they have our money entrusted to them...any of us can leave at anytime we wish of course...but they have a vested interest as well. Not to mention Schlum/OGIF as well. Of course it can all go pear shaped but your comments whilst valid individually are,imo, very slewed to the fatalistic view point. Personally I remain positive, as if nothing else at 24p we are underpinned-if such a thing exists but theoretically at least.

HT, know all about commodities as was a raw sugar trader for10 years and negotiated many LTCs with producers and end users but yes agreed using the house price analogy was too simplistic. The point I was trying to make was some people see value differently for various reasons and yes BF explained very well but sometimes it’s not as simple as x plus y times% over z years as country risk, politics(the bigger picture of someone getting into Morocco) all play a part.

Agreed SO and also some very good and well thought out posts during the day. Some positive some not so, which is refreshing. The only thing I would say with regards to value is in reality whilst one can put forward good arguments for this pric or that at the End of the day none of us really know. At the end of the day the price will be what an entity is prepared for our company and whether that is fair value matters not. For example whilst we think value is 2.5 the “best” buyer may only be prepared to pay £1.00 conversely some of us may think our value is for example 74p but another”best” buyer maybe prepared to pay£5. At the end of the day the estate agent may say your house is worth x but the reality is it is only worth what a buyer is prepared to pay for it...regardless of perceived value.

Thanks update but to just clear up some confusion, does the wider area for GSA include any gas or not….that may come from TE10?
Only ask as the 135km area seems to preclude TE10.

PNE79-I read the telegrath not the mail(just as bad I hear you say!) the point I think I was trying to make in my last and previous posts was I find the whole thing rather strange(balls brothers) as to timing and intent,esp as what I believe was intended as an informal pint has morphed into something perhaps not originally planned due to numbers. now being what it is I still think that a FSC would be more inclusive for everyone especially those with long distances who are contrained by time and cost...personally I'm not going ,even though I live in Kent, for medical reasons and also not sure what I will gain but that IN Part is my choice. back to the Tory Graph-used to read the Sport on Sunday maybe before your time a fine periodical but banned by wife when she saw the headline one day was "woman gives birth to 8lb trout and on page 2 WW2 bomber found on mo0n and page three :)

HT have to agree, f....the freebies and jollies one invests-well I do-for one reason only, to make money and yes I am one of the lucky ones who is still making money on SOU and dodged the bullet on Coro and Echo.Time to stop being chummy chummy and deliver,one way or another. Shed,I am pretty much aligned with your though process. I thought when it was announced that it was pretty strange unless it was a "mini LE" event or was timed to follow some news ,of whatever nature-TE10/GSA/Sidi etc( still might). now I think all sorts of horrible thoughts like they are buttering us up for delays,bad news...who knows. Or perhaps they have no decided after reading some comments on the BB to turn it into a sort of face to face FSC but what can be said that hasn't already been rns'd unless they announce something new. Sounds all a bit like antiques road show-if you have drilling questions table one,finance table two, tactics for Sound,Echo,Coro,C4 multiple choice but table 3........

Good morning all.Here is a wacky Saturday morning post which is just a thought and in my opinion and maybe completely way off the mark. That's the caveats out the way.

I really don't buy into this get together as just a social without some backbone to it prior to the "Pint". I can think of 2 possible scenarios. 1) JP is confident that an acceptable GSA will be announced prior to this......or how about this. A lot has been mentioned that the emphasis is being shifted to unstimulated flow as opposed to fracked flow. JP has said that he expects to have Post Stimulation results end of March so could it be that they already have or are very confident of having pre stimulation results prior to the "Pint"??? initially ,I seem to remember but could be wrong, that they would be testing flow from various identifiable areas prior to stimulation during February. Probably totally off the mark and maybe clutching at straws but will take anything after so many years here. Have a nice w/end all.

you have to love it, a simple tweet inviting peeps for a jar has completely diverted the BB discussion from Big Guns and timings etc to why are we being invited in the first place. You couldn't make it up.Personally i'm in the JoeCreed camp that there is more behind this than just a "social" but that's only because I love a conspiracy. On a serious note I really do think that if TE10 turns up trumps-and I think it will-then we really are on the final stretch. those,who's views I respect, have mentioned that if an offer comes in it will take a few months to finalise etc,sure but in my experience if we do receive an offer-whenevr/if ever!-then subject to a bidding war it is over there and then as the sp will rise pretty close or above the offer price on the announcement-all imo-enjoy the pint.......

I also had an email from JP yesterday responding to certain questions that I had. The most salient part of his reply was that he expected to have POST simulation flow results by the end of march and that was allowing for any slippage from customs delays, which apparently now are a secondary issue.
I have long held the belief,and been shouted down by some quarters, that should TE10 be a "success" then we will not drill TE11 (or certainly not as Sound Plc ). This would fit in with Crude's email where the stacking of the rig by TE10 which is not going to be used by"us" as an appraisal drill-could it be that a tacit agreement has been reached with Schlum/consortium that if decent flow results they will take over Sound and perhaps use the rig themselves for appraising-just a thought.

Jacklevi thank you and yes I do have a hair trigger, though sometimes in jest it is I just cannot tolerate obvious(well maybe misguided at times to me) peeps who come on here or any other BB with any other intention than to disrupt and blatantly ramp or deramp a share. Whilst we all know the risks of investing in any share ,especially O&G,there are some who read these bb's and I'm sure are swayed by some of the comments posted. So i am not against reasoned debate for or against nor am I BB policeman ,rather i chose not to read some posters and therefore exercise my democratic right to filter.
On a serious note i did email JP yesterday about notification of starting flow tests etc and it is still their intention to update the market mid-feb( as per previous rns) on the technicalities and timings of such.Obviously timings cannot be guaranteed(my words).
