It is also not inconceivable that it is the main Newcrest board is making the major decisions about Havieron and imposing them on Sandeep and his Australian team. The prime reason being to continue to hold the GGP shareprice down to try and get the 100% control of Havieron as cheap as possible. If accomplished they would have carte-blanche to carve up Havieron exactly as they saw fit among one or two different majors so they all get a slice of the pie. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors and I do remember Barrick doing similar since their really disgraceful period.
We can only hold strong and stay the course and not be surprised by any development. They will have to break cover at some time if that were the case.
GLA and keep up the good work.
Consider this - Havieron is growing at such a tremendous rate in terms of potential output over very many years into the future. Newcrest like many others have been surprised/astounded and it is not surprising they have ditched reporting volume figures etc. Such is the potential output that they may consider the Telfer processing plant whilst continuing initially not fit for future production levels especially if a second Havieron (etc) was to be discovered. They may be considering a new more up to date production plant for the future (which would cost a mint). One could see clearly the cost reasons why they may be pressurising GGP in terms of share price reduction to get 100% control of what still may be the biggest mining discovery known (or indeed others). If that is what is being tried we must not let that happen or at least receive a true and fair value. All GGP shareholders must unite to fight the aggressor and not crumble whatever happens. If this were the case an offer could come very quickly so be prepared for anything.
Having said all that it is still possible that Newcrest are still playing with a straight bat and only time will tell. If they are we can still be in a win win situation but do not underestimate Havieron and understand the potential enormality of what we have at present (30%).
GLA on the rocky road ahead and keep the faith and your shares.
When GGP was in the low 30p's it was valued at a worth of an unproved anticipation about the forthcoming Newcrest involvement in Havieron and possibilility of a good increase in resources if they found sufficient when drilling proceeded. The JV tried to cater for any resource increase over time and added value hence the additional 5% clause. Investors have seen the GGP SP fall as Newcrest have greatly increased their drilling in order to eventually feed Telfer and get their increased percentage according to the JV terms. As the increase in the resource has been reported the fall in GGP SP appears to have mirrored Newcrests increase of the ownership percentage and we should expect that fall in value in GGP. 25% is the agreed GGP holding in Havieron at production start.
Investors in GGP can take heart that although some increases in resource as a result of Newcrests drilling have been reported they have not been reflected in the GGP share price to date and are still to be added.
We are now entering the final stages of the 5% agreement which must surely reflect the full value of Havieron to date with a more or less defined true figure of the total resource. Compare whatever that figure is with the SP was when Havieron was in its infancy (30p's) and we will see a monumental increase in resource with production edging forever nearer. Whatever, the time is almost nigh to see a re-rate not only back to the low 30p's but a further increase in SP to reflect the huge increase in resource that has occurred so far. Such will be the figures the market cannot ignore the news and the re-rate will start soon.
Anyone with shorts or gambling on further price falls in GGP are dicing with death so to speak.
GLA. We will win out in the end on Havieron alone. What a wonderful position to be in and we can still buy in at minimal cost in relation to what we will be getting.
AYE, and if you look high enough beyond the blue sky you will see the high heaven that believers will get and peer down far enough towards the centre of the Earth a fiery hell that is the destination for the unbelievers.
Invaluable work Bamps21 as always that more than keeps us going.
Yes, I guess thats the name of the game today-Last friday late trades were put through at false prices to show rubbish drop over last weekend. They must take us for idiots. But we are not like the apprentices that cause Alan Sugar to despair.
GLA.
PaddyGall,
If these targets are close to the Artemis/Havieron prospect border which they are perhaps there could be an unofficial pact of a tri-parthied agreement which cannot be reported at the moment because of the possibility of some form of takeover/similar is in process dependent on when Artemis admission to Aim is complete. My thoughts may be way off beam but nevertheless food for thought. Artemis is currently taking advantage of GGP/Newcrest news.
You cannot correlate between asset value and share price in a rigged market.
A fair proportion of top investment firms and others eg Newmont were not capable of recognising what potential GGP had a few years ago and therefore they did not invest, more fool them. They now realise they were outdone by us ordinary investors. Now there are many who want in but they are not genuine investors and therefore try to avoid paying too much for what is the potential greatest discovery of the lot. So they try to disrupt the current share price downwards to satisfy their potential greed with the assistance of market makers/possibly a few of GGP management/and disgraceful shorting firms and other manipulators. All because they are not prepared to pay a decent price for the potential greatest discovery ever. They are the pariahs that decent shareholders do not want and hate. Let the Slumdog Millionaires like JPM and other shorters and similar keep out of GGP I say.
Sure many institutional investors are genuine and play fair according to the rules but Aim is useless in enforcement of what few rules there are but SD must realise the manipulation of GGP and realise he has to solve this issue for GGP to genuinely move forward. Take the share price manipulation out of the equation and it will balance the asset value with a true SP.
Simple enough for a financial expert like Shaun I would think- a word in their ear or else may be enough in a perfect world but we don't have that.
GLA.
Its not a problem it is a super bonus that has come our and Newcrests way. No one but a few would have dared to have considered the good luck that the ever increasing size/quantities will bring- even me and a few to many others who has said in the past this will be huge. We believed GH and the management in their saying their focus was tier 1 + discoveries.
We will win out.
GLA
I see today crookedJPM are boasting on their website to their institutional mates that they have been awarded Top Global Research Firm for the first time in 1Equity Research team section.
They have also announced Shorting GGP. I think they will be the bottom team in a years time after such a foolish move.
I am sure Shaun will give it the meat it deserves when he speaks to his institutional friends and will they laugh-Ha Ha.
GLA
I agree that GGP negotiators should be looking at figures way above whats been reported or mentioned on this board in assessing the Net Present Value in relation to the extra 5% share that Newcrest want. Newcrest would not bother with it if the increase in value of Havieron was only piffling. It must be enormous!!
All the indications are that recent drilling discoveries at Havieron are constantly upping the value due to the unending expansion both at depth and horizontally along with some exceptional grades etc.
No wonder Sandeep and Shaun are chomping at the bit.
Be prepared for the agreed monumental valuation and a game changing offer to GGP for the extra 5%. Both Newcrest and GGP can benefit greatly and it is in both of their interests to swiftly conclude a deal with no messing around especially if Havieron is evermore ground breaking as some or the majority of us have suspected.
GLA true investors- Our time is getting closer.
Our thoughts are with you at this time. You will win through.
The ones who continue shading bits from the SP as a daily matter of course and their supporters and other disconnected non investors who continually infest this board with lies and deceit are taking advantage of not much trading because 95+% shareholders are blissful with GGP's present position and their peronal levels of investment and so, so confident about the future of GGP. They know there is no need to worry about GGP's share price as it will rise significantly this year beginning quite soon- We have seen this level before and like then this will rally on news but this time it will not stop until a true valuation is reaped. All this before production has even started. Don't be an unfortunate who misses the coming bonanza and then the long term future.
GLA true GGP investors- our time is coming.
Many years have passed it seems with some years being painfully memorable and others gratefully memorable.
Let 2022 exceed the most memorable with GGP achieving so much more.
Advice for the coming year, Stay with and follow the Gold and do not diverge or be forced off course. The GGP long term future is still shining ever more brightly.
Good luck all and happy new year.
Happy Chrismas all genuine investors. Just think this time next year (only 12 months) we will be salivating about forthcoming or imminent production at Havieron. Let the SP rise and the cash flow is my 2022/3 thoughts.
GLA
As expected nearly all the reported sell trades after 9.00am are buys including mine. MMs are trying their best but are pgin' against the wind. Keep those shorters frying.
GLA
I always put it down to HL, IG and many other brokers deliberately agreeing low bid price with MMs at end of day to undervalue their clients portfolio valuations and to soften the blow to their shorters whom they very much put first over genuine PI investors. May be wrong of course but the likes of these firms have never challenged that view to my knowledge. Some ordinary Pi's may have in the past. But it is indicative of the unregulated market anyway and demonstrates liquidity means little most of the time when the bid price is so manipulated.
Nice to see a rise at last after the long decline.
Havieron Tops with a lot more to follow there. How high will Newcrest have to go. That's the multi million Dollar question? for their 5%. The futures bright.
GLA all genuine investors.
Its taken all of 10 months for this share price to reach todays level-You can hardly say the detractors/bad mouthers/alleged shorters/MMs etc or any other shark have had great success and most LTH's are still well up on their investments. The LTH's that are currently down on their investments from either buying/ topping up for the future or investing because of the excellent investment case will get their rewards.
The turn around is very close in gold/copper exploration terms and the positions are being cleared for the biggest and quickest bull run ever in a gold/copper share. All large investors/institutional investors will be looking for the upsurge. All the while we get closer to D-Day and that speedy upgrade in share price.
GGP has better prospects/grounds than all the other junior/medium explorers in Australia and there is so much to like for the future development. Take all of the excellent news this year from Havieron alone. Even the new Breccia grades away from the main Havieron decline etc are up to approx double the GGP first drill grades at Havieron that had Newcrest salivating enough to get in. The really large world miners must be highly envious of these discoveries by both companies-and don't forget what else we have at other prospects yet to be discovered.
Do not be taken in by people who should know better, so let them go play with the worms.
We all know (those who have really done their research) that it all has been proven up so far so the case cannot be denied.
GLA all genuine GGP investors and look forward to a prosperous future.
With all the contrived rumours etc circulating at the moment shareholders must keep calm. There is no way SD would jeopardise his or GGP's position or their shareholders short/long term future.
We can only wait for the position to be explained which must be,in my opinion, before the AGM. I hope the position is good news for us all.
GLA.
Is it possible that the current head of steam is maintained for the whole day due to the extra interest etc that has been generated by this raise of funds. Its likely of course that tree shake attempts will come but will our determination lead to a blue day and possible true turn around point.
Heres Hoping.
GLA
HeleB,
A man of integrity- He has not bought in due to his insider knowledge. This offer enables him to buy a token amount without problems of insider trading. His options when eventually exercised etc will be his reward for the hard work he is putting in on behalf of us all.
Roll on the extra drilling results as a result of this raise to fast forward the upturn.
Good on ya mate.
