Unfortunately still having problems with my hearing and I would prefer that someone else benefits more from the event - as I miss some of the content in the discussions or in general interactions.

But I remember that in a way he legitimised GGP at a time it was needed which was a godsend for Callum. He also used his knowledge/skill to identify from many historical drills that had been done over the past years over large areas - where to drill at depth using his deep knowledge and new techniques with exploration under cover. No one else at the time was doing that. He dared and won.

Would Havieron have been discovered by top surface only drilling. I don't think so.

So we have a lot to thank him for.

I feel that criticism since has been a little misplaced as it was all new at the time and I guess he did not really know how negotiate properly with a Major and how to exit with grace. but that's just my opinion.

A wondrous long term investment from any point of view. Most LTH's are now on the cusp of something great. It gives me great pleasure knowing that I still have my early profits intact 7 or 8 years later.

No I did not sell when the price was up in the 30's because my gut told me that Havieron was a game changer and so it has proved to be.

We have not yet seen the best - that is the great bonus starting in the near term - YES- starting in the near term.

Those who have bought since the high and stuck with it stand to gain colossally over the short to medium term yet alone the new further long term. Look at Newmont who made millions/billions from Telfer.

We didn't foresee that we would get hold of Telfer for very little in the scheme of things and be able, at a stroke, to re-invigorate it so quickly to its likely equivalent prospects that Newmont held in its heyday of the late/early 20th century. I will not mention Newcrest.

Sadly I do feel for other investors who bought and subsequently sold out who were not day traders.

And yet it is still an attractive investment that is coming to fruition so I guess there's still a chance to buy in cheaply for the rewards.

None of this, of course, could have been achieved without the succession of excellent management (from Calum through to Gervaise and especially Shaun) that we have had over the years and their vision and planning and the support of their teams.

So come on everyone and lets bring it home and ignore the detractors.

Re possible consolidation of GGP shares, Is the actual transfer of shares by Corporate Action regarded as a simple transfer of new quantity shares for old and not as a sale and buy back of GGP shares?

I am merely trying to get my head around the procedures to avoid any stumbling blocks. I would hate for the the actual transaction to be treated as a sale on Aim therefore attracting possible capital gains tax especially in the current climate.

Think investors will have something worth listening to. May be RNS news like first tranche of funding agreed with Australian Government agencies + more details of immediate plans towards production in some form or other.

Shaun will want some good headlines.

This undervalued stock/share price maybe will soar. Who knows but would not want to be out in the next couple of weeks.

I agree things make no sense but I wonder about the buy opportunity side of things- why hasn't SD and the board taken up their current share options if this is going to go boom later when on ASX. They will of course reset new options on ASX anyway but why miss the current opportunity on Aim?

I have always fully supported SD as most have but is there anything that ordinary GGP PI's haven't been told. I know that where a share consolidation is promised and there is a general feeling of unease amongst a lot of ordinary investors due to the perceived dealings of dishonest MMS on Aim in the past?.

It would be galling for LTHs having supported GGP on Aim for years if it ended with GGP being given to the Aussies cheaply and corruption free and if we were to be left with the undervalued leftovers on the British Aim market because of the inherent corruption on Aim.

Pray that type of thing is not on the cards and keep up due diligence about every aspect of the change to come.

Just an obscure feeling I have - A continued SP rise from today would help dispel those fears.

I think that's not likely to happen.

Van Eck or whoever will get the MM's NOT to report their buys as buys during working hours but as unknowns which not surprisingly can only appear after trading hours. Therefore the buys are not reflected in the algorithm calculations during working hours which sets the share prices.

You don't think anyone is capable of adjusting the instant algorithm calculation in working hours to make sure these unknowns are picked up?, therefore it simply means they are deliberately forgotten and the final SP is distorted downwards.

For those certain posters who will challenge what I say- I challenge anyone to provide a factual detail of what is actually happening so that we all know the truth.

GGP will soon surpass any shenanigans and get its' true valuation.

Well Red, Its not the wine (TT most of time), Nor the women except (no comment), nor the song (I usually croak) but I must admit a good Knees up very occasionally gets rid of a multitude of lifes frustrations like my hearing (or lack of it), but I cannot help being an optimist . Its just I am finding the joys of being a jack of all trades and master of none coming more to the fore as I get older.

How I look forward to the next 20 years by way of Telfer and its further development ( bearing in mind I am now over 80yrs old. I have kept fit and still do a hard days graft for no reward apart from the satisfaction of a developing garden etc.

I have been or am very lucky to survive this long but I feel that I may get there. Mother got to 98. Its excitement unqualified with the GGP investment possibilities showing no limits and you breed a confidence that will not fail from your past and present 'hands on' practical experience and your unselfish sharing of it with everyone.

And I will not even mention Havieron on top of it all, the diamond in the crown.

Sounds like the last of the borrowed shares being replaced by the Shorters cheaply off book But what do I know?.

I think it used to be called embezzlement in the days before the cheaters. Using clients shares for Shorting the price downwards at the expense of their very self same clients. Most, if not all the Brokers and connected MM's and crooked big financial companies/institutions have been at it on AIM etc. Todays scourge of investing on The London Stock Exchange.

Hoping tomorrow could be the start of the big delivery days for GGP.

I am so pleased that the share price at the beginning of 2025 is holding up to a certain extent and any small fall is recovered quite soon.

It indicates to me that everyone (true GGP investors) are patiently biding their time until the news flow starts again in earnest. My, My we do have a busy programme from the 4th february onwards.

I can feel Shaun Day and the team are working their socks off behind the scenes to produce the necessary analysis to prepare new GGP production figures including everything we/they need to know about 1st quarter production. There is also the multitude of tasks that Bamps have highlighted in his brilliant posts to be dealt with.

I have no doubt that initial results will be good.

GGP with their additional talent added will join the top flight of gold producers and will be very successful over the future years and when you think we're on the cusp of greatness after only 2-3 years since Havieron was discovered. It has been an amazing journey.

So much pain to endure on the route to the promised land. The worlds at our feet, we think, and the SP is still as castrated as ever. Even a very minimal last day rise by the drunkard MM'S on last trading day of year 24 is sold into on the first trading day of year 25. Things to come I would guess before any rerate thoughts.

SD will win through in the end and must shout the case from the rooftops as soon as positive news is available.

I will be the first to stick it up 'em detractors.
