Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
With each exploration report comes the distinct possibility that we may hit another biggy in the region. The targeted drilling programme is initially worked out on the basis of Geological interpretation and Metallic investigations along with Modelling/tracking to point the way forward. Obviously GGP are now experts in this field and I am confident that our explorations will bring further success especially when drilling deeper under the cover as with Havieron. I talk as a layman.
Whatever the result of the 5% negotiations the outcome will be beneficial to GGP and as Havieron gets ever closer to production a regular income will start to flow increasing over time. Newcrest cannot afford to cheat GGP as they will need us as much as we need them locally in the future.
SD's future plans for GGP will come into play and through re-investment and likely additional debt finance we will become a Miner in our own right. with a fantastic future. I have not even mentioned our many other prospects that we will benefit from.
I, like so many investors in GGP are perfectly happy to hold or increase for the really good times ahead. The scaremongers can easily be seen off with facts from our expert posters in the meantime as the scaremongers attempts to date look tardy and unbecoming of any organisation trying to short or prepare the ground for takeover or simply to try and prise the shares from ordinary PI's. The scaremongers will never deny or alter the facts whatever they come up with.
As always patience is the virtue and the case for GGP is still nailed on in the long term. Keep those golden tickets intact whatever and I suspect our share price will turn upwards soon for relentless increase. in the future.
GLA genuine investors.
petejh,
Glad to see the back of you. A tester I think.
GLA all genuine GGP investers.
Hello Bamps21,
I do not take it personally- I thought I was careful in my reply not to create that impression.
You are right that I was not present at the meeting and at what I missed. It delights me that you reveal the full extent of our leaders commitment to the cause. The future seems so much more certain hearing that and you are right that anyone trying to get there hands on GGP would have to pay a fortune.
I say again to you along with all the other brilliant respected posters on this board to keep up the good work. In the end we will win out regardless of any short term shenanigans.
GLA.
Hi Bamps 21,
Sorry I have mis-spelt your posting name in my last post although I note you did not complain.
I am optimistic and believe my post was more than pure optimistic thinking or ramping as some may mistakenly believe.
It is a subject that has been well discussed before and SD has answered questions on takeovers before and If I remember correctly he said if GGP were to receive a serious offer at any stage he would be obliged to put the matter to shareholders for them to decide.
I am happy with discussing the possibilities however remote that you may consider them just as they could form part of the future of GGP. I feel there are Majors with an undeclared (at present) interest in Havieron which I can understand- Havieron is arguably unprecedented or at least has a potential unprecedented future.
There has been enough doom mongers on this board for so long who seek to decry us and our views I just try to give a positive of this investment and I wish more of the silent majority posted their thoughts to help counteract the decline in SP.
But your respect from me is well earned by your actions Good luck in the future and also to all genuine GGP supporters.
Trying to predict the future for GGP, and Newcrest and the World's largest miners of Gold/copper & other metals is now the task in hand.
From Bamps and Gerryspaniels and others reports of conversations/questions that SD answered yesterday we have to draw conclusions and find answers.
The shorting conspiracy that much has been made of does not seem to be hugely relevant to SD and whilst tiresome to PI's do not appear to be the major cause of the rigid GGP SP price control currently being operated. Whilst the short may well cost some a lot of money eventually it is regarded as not too relevant in the overall scheme of things.
So who has the power and resources to push the SP down and keep it there come what may despite excellent sets of Havieron results over the long term and much other good news?
It can only be another Major Miner probably in the current top ten with access to unlimited funds and I have already suggested Newmont which is probably not likely on reflection although Newcrest were born out of initially being a subsidiary of Newmont many moons ago.
So are Newcrest open to a mega-merger with another major or indeed strong enough to resist a hostile takeover from one? We shall see but for GGP holders its a waiting game, as, if it happens, our 25 to 30% will likely be on the table as well and GGP shareholders will likely greatly benefit. If it does not we still have SD building GGP up along with Newcrest into the dreamed future big player that is on the cards.
My feeling is the size, potential and quality of Havieron alone is enough to derisk any mining Majors risk fear of not being able to replace their current gold/copper portfolios and in a potentially safe environment too and from their point of view as cheaply as possible.
For us GGP holders however it could/would be win, win, win situation with the right price being finally achieved especially if more than one Major were players. A prize worth fighting for!!
GLA and hang in there. Keep those golden tickets.
Congratulations Bamps for your very informative posts after the meeting. Straight from the horses mouth so to speak and a decent insight to any errors I may have made in my thinking. Keep up the good work.
GLA
A lot of negative rubbish posted today about the 5% negotiation by those trying to decry GGP for their own reasons.
Most genuine holders just want a realistic negotiation valuation based on a fair assessment of what we have. To try and argue based on future house prices or suchlike etc is very flawed and useless.
It really is quite simple. Newcrest know very well the potential value of Havieron that they have currently and they know this is only going to get bigger over the decades- For heavens sake they have successfully managed Telfer in the area for so long and are well versed in that success story where Telfer also kept giving for so long. Havieron is bigger and will give even more bigger. They missed the exploration success of Havieron that GGP did not miss but they soon realised the potential of Havieron based on GGP's first drills and jumped on the band wagon instantly with the JV they negotiated.
To try and limit the basis on a first MRE (produced after arguably a change of policy only including restricted areas as the basis) was not fair to GGP shareholders.
Fair play to Shaun for calling them out and producing his own very conservative updated MRE and if it results with an updated negotiation range that is fair to GGP whatever final figure may be agreed for the 5% will probably be accepted by GGP board and shareholders.
GLA for the future and the futures still shining bright for GGP whatever SP tricks they try. I am ashamed we have to deal with such cheats who try to drag the GGP SP down on the AIM market. They do nothing for the reputation of "The City" whichever way you look at it.
Well done Shaun,
The enthusiasm is great, the message confirming the growing Havieron area and its surrounds is fine, Other prospects looking good, and the 5% negot also looking good. It is all there and much more.
Who can post untrue derogatory comments about GGP in the future except those enemies of GGP and we know or will know who they are.
Just a small top up (all I could afford) at a bargain price of 14.9 but it all helps for the future.
I hope this SP surpasses the 20p mark soon on its way to?????? well the sky's the limit.
Music to ones ears and more to come from the buffet meet.
GLA Greatlanders.
Sure, I will be very happy when we Pi's' in GGP give the manipulators, lowlife cheats, criminals and suchlike A big fat flat bloody nose. We must somehow make it happen and soon.
Keep the faith whatever they throw at us. They are not privileged people and way they act shows their true colours. Putinostra's with no understanding outside their cesspit of life except incessant greed/power and as Benrumpson1 says it stinks.
GLA for the future. We will have 77 trombones etc at the big parade when it comes..
If this is on the back burner so be it but is it that important. But more important to me are Newmont Gold Corporation making plans to take over Havieron/GGP/Newcrest(if they don't already own NCM)?.
Apparently Newmont are now regarded as the biggest miner in the world with 93 million Gold Reserves and a lesser number of Gold equivalent ounces.
JPMorgan (Michael Glick) (forecast Newmonts share price to reach$74.97 and its well on its way. I won't comment on any alleged shenanigans re GGP concerning JPM.
Newmont have the deepest pockets and will be happy to take a sideways step to acquire potentially the replacement of their gold resources for years to come.
I have always thought that Havieron is so big the Big Boys will not let it drift pass untouched and it may explain Newcrests change to delaying tactics with GGP.
Hang on to those golden tickets in GGP- whatever comes to pass and if Hydrogen is right that the short is failing GGP will still fly as in fairness to GGP shareholders it should.
GLA.
All share holders realize large mine developments are risky and may have hidden obstacles to hinder expected progress but the eventual rewards to be reaped will more than cover the extra costs of such events and any resulting delays.
Havieron by its very nature has been largely derisked by all the research that has been done by its shareholders and the fact that we have an excellent experienced JV partner in that area who want the long term profitable future of the tier 1 (at least) mine. GGP (who started as a minnow) also want a fair share in terms of value for our own superlative effort and discovery of Havieron and our generous JV offer to NCM at the beginning. We realise the project is still on track and we must be patient but the rewards will come and in a very positive way.
Its a pity that so many seek to decry positive news for their own ends but our excellent expert posters always manage to state our case and see them off with the truth.
This will be big-no doubt about it and I do not believe we look down on small shareholders- I am a small shareholder (compared with many) myself, certainly not rich.
But every one must realise the whole is not a short term fix/investment.
Keep the faith and our time is forever drawing nearer.
Today I won't complain about the disparity of end of day price valuations between IG and HL.
I will bask in the 2 day rise regardless of what happens tomorrow and it reminds me of our past hey days. GGP was last at this level on about 01/09/21 just after the start of the bull run of approx +109% which was achieved on about 29/12/21- 3 months of bliss although it was hard work even then tensions being what they were. Could history be set for a repeat or even a surpass of that. Forever the optimist I think the case has already been strongly made and with so much more still to come and long term the sky is the limit.
GLA genuine investors and keep most if not all of those golden tickets until the time is right for us.
ProfQuatermass,
GGP joining the main market could be a solution to the existing flaws of the manipulative Aim Market.
We are in the situation where the current share price can be and is manipulated by false end of day share sales reporting- yesterday for example with the quite huge false drop in share price- and believe it or not all the posts yesterday that referred to it have been removed post haste.
Anyone catching up on previous posts today for research purposes or just to see whats been happening while they have been away or at work will now see only a cleansed version of the share chat for GGP. We all know this happens and that there are those who want to conceal the truth. But it has got ever more controlled recently.
I can believe that the serious shorting companies are behind this practice. Take IG for instance- Their client valuations yesterday were at the false share price of 13.20p which on my holding (small) shows as an additional loss of £412 compared with the HL Bid price of 13.80p for the same quantity. Across IG,s whole portfolio the shorting share values (liabilities?) are immense and are being under stated and reported. Do they need to conceal their current shorting liabilities?
I have only used IG as an example because it is one of my two brokers and I assume similar shorters such as JPM and many others do the same. I think this raises the question of the integrity of these shorting firms in their dealings and the MMs some of whom must be implicated by this manipulative practice. The FCA should investigate this area thoroughly along with the tax authorities.
I am always comforted by the fact that individual day shenanigans mean little in the long run with GGP but anything that falsely depresses the share price and affects PIs is manipulation and should be challenged. I would be more happy to devote my time to the positive aspects of GGP's future rather than this.
GLA and stay strong.
Whilst many of us have been talking for a long time about the immense potential of Havieron and its surrounding areas the Revised MRE put out by Shaun Day (whilst undoubtedly conservative in nature) and team has highlighted this to all and shown that Newcrest was not prepared to do this for their shareholders despite good faith agreements in the Havieron JV with GGP.
It is not only GGP PI's who have/are being shafted by any other associated nefarious transactions but many small, middling to large institutions who have legitimately bought in when the share price was a lot higher and who have not sold their investments. I believe they will be eventually thankful for SD's forthright action as the future unfolds as it surely will.
The public exposure has highlighted the potential to all investors and eventually this will be reflected in the GGP share price.
My last post must have upset some of the manipulators/shorters/institutions- they don't like it up 'em. Soon taken down by LSE with no explanation so I am still here apparently if this gets published. Who controls who I wonder. We shall see.
Jphill & Doublehun,
Every country in the world should be opposing the potential future tyrant-Putin regardless of their own failings-including China.
Daily Mail financial section today predicts that RIO after reporting record profits/dividends will be doing huge takeovers/jv's this year. With whom I wonder!!.
GLA.
So Putin has likely, hopefully, signed his own death warrant. Unfounded aggression by a dictator. I wonder who will have the guts to take him out. No wonder Putin did not want Trump in the White House. I feel so sorry for the brave souls on the receiving end. Wish them luck and hope and hopefully our practical help. The free world must do more than impose sanctions otherwise a harsh life under threat awaits it. So Europe, Britain, USA, Australia, China, Africa, Canada, New Zealand and all other free countries the future or lack of it is down to you.
I would rather live in peace for the limited time I will be around but appeasement is a no good option in my book. To die fighting is preferred.
The gold won't move unless the free world can deal with Putin the bully. If it fails it may be blasted all over Australia. Politicians find your Guts.
GLA
EdmMike,
Yes, my terminology failed.
Sojourner,
Thanks, very interesting.
Sure is deteriorating fast in the Forest and were not right in the main zone. Hope those in the Bristol Channel and River Severn areas are OK and indeed the whole of the South West let alone the potential South East..
