You look even more foolish for misreading the GGP situation and for actually posting it on this board.

Timber Trader,
Could not agree more.
The bargain sale of the century.
Topped up already. Sure the trades may all show as sales but who cares if the system misreads the venomously bid price manipulations- You just ignore what you see. We will win in the end and leave the undesirables in the place they deserve to be in.
GLA genuine investors/supporters..
Matty56 & JiffyBag,
I respect your views. I did not include reasons for a strategically timed takeover as I thought that they were fairly obvious. I still believe it is a possibility. I felt therefore it was worth airing but as with any discussion we all cannot be entirely right. I have been waiting for a long time for the upturn to come (as has all of us) and rest assured I will still be in until this is eventually played out and I 100% concur with the positive view of the future in whatever form it comes.
GLA
Ran out of words but I was just going to say a takeover may be a very good outcome as long as you keep with the Value if the Gold/Copper etc whatever happens if it does. The eventual value of Haviron is going to dwarf anything that has gone before so the big players must be interested.
GLA and keep holding.
Its been a trying time especially for LTH's many of whom have seen their investment value in GGP fall up to 60% (approx) this year alongside a succession of truly spectacular explorer news flow from start to finish.
Many like myself feel the investment case for GGP is almost derisked and the long term future is great and are happy to keep topping up and holding and its only a matter of time before this rises possibly exponentially.
The bugbear is the Aim market has not reacted in the way it should. As I see it at the moment no one seems to know exactly what is going on and this gives rise to all sorts of conspiracy theories/accusations etc of who to blame or the reasons for this mis-reaction of the Aim market. We all know them and their perceived consequences and there is too many for me to repeat here.
How can it all be simplified into one answer- We need a modern day Warren Buffett or equivalent to provide this answer. The only other way would be for the perpetrator/s to come clean and inform us all which clearly is not going to happen.
It has been suggested (partly by Warren Buffet and others eg Rick Rule (Sprott) that large investors are building up their liquidity in order to take advantage when the opportunity comes in relation to Gold markets and the Australia based mining industry.
Could it be that the oft mentioned takeover of Havieron by a very large Major or Majors is currently planned but restrictions are being imposed to ensure that the share prices of Newcrest and GGP does not increase greatly before the plans are actioned in the relatively near future. The value is currently in the ground.
If plans for a major takeover of Newcrest are in existence then they would not be logically be undertaken before Production was very close- In other words the 70% (approx) of Havierons expanding value are held with Newcrest and wait until most of the expenditure was made by Newcrest/GGP (by default) and come in with the takeover when income was due to flow in. Could this also be partly one of the reasons why up to fairly recently that Newcrest have well underperformed the other majors in the Australian market.Perhaps their share price has also been held back?
Now lets think about GGP. Potential holders of 30% of the value of whats in the ground at Havieron. It seems logical that if a takeover of GGP was also planned by the same Major/s it would happen at the same time as the Newcrest one- (remember some majors could do a huge takeover deal and then carve up the proceeds amongst themselves).
The takeover plans could be scuppered by GGP if the GGP share price rose enormously during the period up to production or near production at Havieron. So hence an even tighter policy of restricting any upward movement of GGP until the time for the takeover is enabled. This restriction therefore knows no bounds and in any event, whatever is involved/necessary to keep GGP price in check regardless of the Aim market effects.
Is this the simple answer?
Great to see a continuation of a little upwards movement instead of the usual recent monday blues. Holding and hoping for a continued return to normal share trading procedures/effects after the fog.

Lebugue-addick & Bamps,
Yes - I remember him saying this and Bamps, Please do not worry about being accused of being a ramper. Every one on this board knows your research is exhaustive and all your comments are always well backed up and well appreciated by all genuine holders.
You have the 'Vision' of GGP and the future that most of us LTH's have. It is based on FACT alone.
I could not undertake the research that you do as I do not have the knowledge but I know since GH came on the scene his approach/methods/research to mainly gold exploration was an initial turning point for GGP. SD will enhance the future.
When the JV with Newcrest was announced I deeply researched Newcrests history of Telfer and their approach to its mine development and their forecasting of future outputs/developments throughout the mines life and now the future. It highlighted the tried and tested procedure that is operating today. It is very pleasing that, unsurprisingly, the same precise procedures are apparent across the GGP website and in all GGP reports. GGP have learned so much from Newcrest. All pure facts with no waffle or absurb predictions. It augers well. No wonder GGP is so highly respected by nearly all genuine investers and the long term future looks excellent.
Keep up the good work and ignore any detractors. We rely so much on you and all the other excellent contributors.
GLA on our journey.
With all the positive news contained within todays Final Results RNS and SD's interview The Trolls should find it hard to degrade anything but try they will probably aided and abetted by their masters and others.
After the predictable initial rise tomorrow be prepared for the ridiculous lowering of the share price in an attempt to create havoc/lower confidence/increase share supply from any weak holders. They will try their strategy of lowering the price on good news which has been successful in the past.
We must defeat the manipulation by concerted action to achieve the ongoing price increase this share deserves. Certainly be prepared to snap up any bargains if possible and maybe buying by large organisations/Institutions will leave them quaking as the price increases later.
Wish I was a financial genius with large funds but HEY What a progressive year for GGP.
We will get there.
GLA and keep strong and optimistic.
Its amazing how MMs keep the buy share trades showing as sells in both a potentially falling market and then when market begins to rise as in today a swift change in the bid price and hey ho Buys show as sells. Those at 16.625 (incl my buy) and close thereabouts are buys.
But I hope the buying pressure does not tail off towards the end of the day. The price will be marked a little down anyway by close of play.
But long term it matters not a hoot and this may be the long awaited turning point.
Holding and adding if possible still appeals.
GLA
With regards to the extra 5% that Newcrest could earn - because of the extra size and scope of Havieron that few in Newcrest or GGP realised at the time - I do not think Newcrest will press ahead with any plans to purchase this extra 5% I believe they will stick at a 70/30 split for the time being.
To try and account for the extra tonnage/ounces within a reasonable time scale is unrealistic and agreement attempts with GGP would probably lead to a certain amount of conflict. Better to press ahead towards production for now with the extra 5% put on the back burner until the revisions/totals are clearer with the agreement of GGP. SD will cope with whatever needs to be done and it is good that finance for GGP would almost certainly be available against that 5% should it be required. We are in an extremely good position overall that many mining/exploration companies can only dream of.
How anyone can deny the future of GGP is really illogical and crass and I am sure the shorters or others that seek to promote lies etc to denigrate the GGP price will pay the price in the end.
GLA and keep strong.
The negative morons are out in force today with their "never been drilled" rubbish. Havieron had been drilled but nothing significant found until GGP came along and unlocked the whole discovery which a seasoned miner/explorer failed to. The miner soon bought in.
Its what you will get with your investment in GGP- An ongoing excellent exploration/potential large mining company. Don't be fooled by the pathetic attempts of the morons.
Always be the optimist
GLA all genuine Greatlanders.
From the new core video I think we can deduce that the drills/veins and core direction will definately lead to the ore source. The main point being at what depth the ore base is of sufficient quantity/grade to justify a large open pit mine. If results were favorable or very favorable then the chances of JV possibilities with a major miner increase. This is very long term but if driiling results confirm something good at reasonable depth the time boost can be accelerated by quite a lot and would hopefully lead to a boost in share price initially. I am not any form of geologist and generally speak in laymens terms. Like all potential mining projects the risks are very high but the rewards for success are good in the long term.
Did not receive any notification of any ban from LSE. A lot of my posts have been removed-particularly any critical of LSE and other organisations. Tried posting yesterday but message froze half way through and could not complete post.
Fully support all the banned LTH excellent posters and applaud all their efforts to weed out the liars etc who try to disrupt and lessen the share price for nefarious reasons.
Did not know how to repost the long true message yesterday but fully support it.
Those posters of false information will now have some idea of what they will face if they continue in their ways. Every false statement must be challenged in detail with true facts.
I have always believed GGP will succeed as indeed they will. The Havieron find alone is becoming even more immense.
Hold for Gold as always- do not give way. It is of some little comfort that the share price has stood relatively firm (with a little rise) these last few weeks despite the efforts of those trying to capitalise at your expense. See them off. This will fly eventally.
GLA
Having spent a fair while re-reading the the PFS report/Stage 1 Study of the 12th October RNS the thing that strikes me most is the amount of potential positives from every aspect of the Havieron potential development. There is not one word of waffle in the report/forecasts and all the forward looking information is based on factual grounds/calculations mainly or wholly carried out by the experienced miner -Newcrest to their customary tried and tested level. We are fortunate to have such a JV partner.
I cannot go into great detail as my brain/knowlege does not extend that far and I leave that to the likes of the Geo experts, Paddy, Bamps and several others who know what they are talking about.
But what I do know is that the end result for Havieron is going to be finacially phenomenal in the long term.
Only fools try to dispute the future.
Do not listen to the modern 'Luddites'. They will not be with you in the future if they got their way now.
GLA on the long fruitful journey.
I am particularly looking forward to this weeks report. We should get to know a lot more about awaited drilling results - It will be amazing if higher grade results under the original inferred material resource estimates are further confirmed and expanded- potentially how big could we be from this alone.
Then there is new information on drilling other areas within Havieron and even more news due on areas around the Havieron JV and Juri Juri JV.
WE will also get to know hopefully how the depth of the incline is going and how long till we hit the ore base - An essential on the path to early production/utilisation of Telfer and subsequent income generation.
In many ways I see this report as one of the most defining reports this year.
Whats not to like about GGP.
GLA and keep focused.
What SD is saying is that patience is the key. We as an intricate explorer/potential miner must be ready for the key thrust due in the not too distant future. Have you noticed the accelerating time lapse that is currently happening in conjunction with the onset of the news rich short term goals. This will only increase greatly in speed into next year and beyond and the time will fly by. No genuine holder will be complaining of a boring journey to its destiny of mining Havieron and so much more.
So as LTH's set your aims/goals to reach what will be best for you as indeed SD and management will do, as well as the institutions etc will do. AND remember if your research told you GGP was a cheap share when it was .30p a while back, with the huge improvement in GGP outlook/prospects since then .17p now is a steal and if it does go lower an even better steal. Take your position for the rebound with the very long term future looking in excess of several £s per share. I am saving for it as I feel I have topped up enough as it is since .30p.
GLA and don't get deflected from what you believe.
Should give a welcome boost to the case. Well done all.
