Confirmed we are now moving forward (in mining timescales) at ever increasing pace towards FS and the ultimate Production date. This IMO is the extra special fillip that defines this latest report. Will it be enough to set the SP alight? I hope so.

Vol of unknown trades reported after hours + some before close -could they be shorts closing (buy backs of loan shares in such a way to not affect the SP) ahead of anticipated good results tomorrow night? Who knows the definitive answer? I don't.

What we expect next week.
It would be good to see a thumbs up from Sherry Duhe (Newcrest) re GGP and the Havieron JV.
Looking forward to 1st drill result (awaiting results) from Juri JV for the A9 target at TAMA. One hit (always an optimist) would be a significant development for GGP/Newcrest.
No further delays to planned events..
More details of Havieron expansion drill results between the known crescents and at depth and those outside the main area.

Could not agree more. There will always be these unknowns in current Aim world but in the end it will become clearer.
I note the Newcrest news release today "Newcrest receives early repayment of Gold prepay credit facility from Lundin Gold Inc. Many millions of additional dollars now available to them. Its the type of thing that GGP could be positioned for in the future with the Financials impact of new loan facilities etc arranged by SD. An insight into the future may be when production revenues start coming in.
Just ignore the current noise and wait (hopefully not too long in Mining timescales- we have survived the worst. Keep the patience and don't get spooked so late in the game.

So as we end IMO a disappointing year SP wise but a fantastic growth year for Havieron I am too very much excited by all the potential news flow/progress expected from the start of the new year. Excitement born out of the fact that Bamps own infectious excitement has been projected over the Xmas period. My thanks to him for all his unselfish and brilliant continued input on the potential expansion of Havieron and the mining plan and suchlike.
Priority for me in 2023 is to get the DFS based on up to date drilling as far as possible confirmed to the market. Let the market know where we are so there is no doubts about what we have.
The second most priority IMO is to try and ensure there is no slippage time on the future proposed date of first production-even if we have to cherry pick areas of Havieron for production prior to an amended mining plan.
I agree with the need to re-assess the ever increasing Havieron mining plan as being very important but we cannot afford another delay to the DFS as a result.
For Newcrest and GGP to get these buttoned up as quick as possible is essential and we do need each other to succeed. Takeover attempts (from Newcrest themselves or others may have to be dealt with but hopefully the JV will be progressed as agreed without complications of that sort.
Then we have the expected GGP news flow for 2023 already highlighted by several on this board to look forward to plus anything new that GH reveals. Whats not to like about the long term future for GGP.

I believe SD's integrity will not allow him to desert GGP for at least 4 years. As regards rewards he will follow his dream to the end and I would say his eventual rewards potentially will well surpass SB's £5.1M or dollars?.
All an opinion of course. If he was interested and had been offered the post Newcrest would still not be looking for a replacement for SB into next year.

I trust SD 100% and he will not desert GGP. There is many different scenarios which may play out and its a case of wait and see but I see it as a positive for GGP in the long run. It is a shame that you should introduce your negative thoughts so soon.

Agreed we all know the case and the tactics and a lowball offer would not be accepted but we have to get the best we possibly can. Thats why the loyalty to the cause of all GGP holders is paramount and every Greatlander shareholder should be aware in the event of such an offer .

Maybe a battle today to keep the manipulated agreed BID price down to 7.50p as they have consistently done for the last 4-5weeks on a friday with one exception as opposed to allowing good news base to push the bid up towards proper levels as has been done all year and more. I believe a cheappskate bid for GGP (or Havieron alone will be forthcoming in the next 6 months probably at the behest of Newcrest with JPM help and support of its Strong Canadian Miner allies if they can agree to split the overall cake amongst themselves. They know the huge value of Havieron for over the next 50 years or so.
Hope SD and the board have it buttoned up should the event occur whilst managing to retain their 30% of the value long term. He will need the loyalty of all true Greatlanders to succeed. Heres hoping.

The mystery of cancelled trades has been mind boggling.
I cannot provide definative answers to the question What is going on? concerning them.
The only clue that I have noticed recently is that a minimal buy trade (£250 incl charges) I put through HL in a small miner/explorer on monday showed up as a cancelled trade. It was as far as I know about the only reported trade that day for that minnow.
It was at a lower price than the share price at the time and appeared to be a good price.
It suggests to me that someone (Market makers the main suspects) have inserted some form of extra logarithm into the share defining procedure used to determine buy and sells such as "If the buy price is discounted beneath the share price by eg 1.25% the buy is classified as an unknown. If something like this were happening on GGP shares only it would surely be noticed but if the perpetrators were clever they must let it happen on all trades in that category regardless of the company involved and it would be easier across the board. So maybe that why we have cancelled trades showing up on Aim across the boards.
Another way of looking at it is has manipulators agreed with some market makers that buy trades should be commission free at below the actual SP and therefore would appear as the unknown category. Manipulators may even pay the market makers their lost commission to get the volume of buys hidden/largely reduced for obvious reasons by this or similar procedure.
Its all very well those saying Business is Business but not by means that are illegal or at best devious. I could be way off beam with this possibility but I can't help thinking.
I will divulge the exploratory miner that I minimally added to on Monday it was Rockfire Resources (ROCK) (B411480143).
Anyway a rising GGP price today may be the catalyst of a turnaround we all hope for and the above theory forgotten about.

Brilliant points to note. Have always worried about takeovers from NCM and potentially others with their behind the scenes manipulations of the GGP share price etc. The main protagonists are now positioning themselves for a battle royal for the long term control of Havieron. With luck, the resolve of the GGP shareholders/board not to sell out cheaply will stand us in good stead for many years to come.

Those detractors with their rubbish postings are almost as bad as those previously respected posters who continually bicker with them for their own self gratification. If No mining organisation is manipulating the GGP share price to try and take over the biggest ever discovery, Havieron & Area-Then who is?
I can see only 2 possibilities,
Firstly a Government such as Russia or China with Russia being the prime suspect- Their aim to get their hands on the most valuable discovery in the world that is emerging.
Secondly, A criminal organisation EG Drug Dealers and People Traffickers ( incl Albanians across the channel which they are making huge profits from) Using GGP to money launder their vast proceeds knowing that GGP will eventually rise to the heights.
Maybe we should all press the authorities to investigate these possibilies (the corrupt Met or the Fraud Squad etc).
It would be nice for the detractors to have these investigators crawling all over them. BUT,
Politicians would probably make a mess of it and I have no time for so called Press financial experts who avoid any constructive investigation of the Aim market like the plague.
A bit tongue in cheek but the obvious theme of this post is that the future of GGP and Havieron and district is enormous and beyond most peoples imagination.

Really liked the review and the comment amongst many others that GGP could become the partner of choice (highlighted by Paddygall) for further exploration of Paterson by other local Majors. Beneficial JVs could well lead to an income stream from GGP's exploration success/procedures.
Whats not to like about the future.
The possible bearish investment outlook by some concerning GGP is likely to be replaced by a much more bullish outlook in hopefully rapid time.
