We expect he SP to decline on good news. Its been happening for years.

The parasites have their claws into GGP but we all know they do not kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. Stupid the Knockers are but they have to survive and obey the long term principles of investing.

We have our investments safely tucked away for the future and we can add at any time cheaply until Havieron/Telfer becomes of age.

Meanwhile we have our other tenements to fully explore including the Huge EG. No wonder we are described as being a win win organisation and now win again explorer soon to become a producer ( in mining timescales).

It is quite possible that we may eventually end up with double figure Tier 1 mines in the future if our exploration techniques are as successful as the last few years.

If you are younger then why not be patient with your life ahead and keep behind GGP fully. If you are like me (in my 80th year) then I hope (God willing) to be around for at least another few years so am very hopeful for the future when the rewards will start to flow.

I do not consider this posting to be a ramp but simply an example of the possible long term way forward for GGP (whatever form it may take).

So ignore the noise and keep the faith. Its in our hands.

No wonder about the calls that AIM is a manipulated house of market makers/corrupt traders . Price at 1500 hrs 6.3p (buys), Crikey!! that's up 18% so far on the day. We had better get the price down back to where it started the day otherwise PI's will start believing the turnaround in GGP is starting and that will harm our shorts.

Put a few false (Naked Shorting trades that are disguised to the system) trades through the system and make sure the sells are reported before close of play and that the buy half is reported after hours. That should quash the actual rise in SP today when we lower the closing bid price. Thank god we are not properly regulated or we would be in deep trouble doing this almost every day.

You have seen the twits on here attempting to run Empires efforts down but what an early day investment to be in bearing in mind future likely financials.

Messing about with a few pence on the current share price does not appeal to me much compared to when the ultimate rewards start coming in.

Old decent rules of stock trading no longer apply these days on AIM.

The SP is reduced up to anticipated good news to lower the impact of any price rise (and illustrate insider trading I guess as well) and then manipulated back down after an initial rise to roughly what it was before.

It happens especially when minor exploration companies discover a large find.

A couple of examples- GGP and of course ourselves. No doubt there are several others in that category and many others on Aim that are experiencing similar to a lesser degree in their lesser share price on Aim.

The overall AIM is to basically use any means possible to try and embezzle the shareholders in such companies out of their potential profits by trying to get us to sell our share for a pittance knowing in the mining industry, that to get to production usually takes at least a few years, giving the cheats plenty of time to short, misrepresent news, deramp etc especially on boards such as this. It is rife and the Post Office cheats who sent sub postmasters/mistresses to jail are only dwarfed by what is going on here on AIM.

Hang on to your golden tickets. you know it makes sense because in the longer term it will eventually be mined if its a decent discovery.

I think you have not been challenged because what you say is correct.

I take it that it will take 6 months to define the specific minerals present and to assess each to see if there is a case for pursuing production in those dependent on spread/quantity/quality etc.

With regard to the titanium and its alloys etc/hosting sands etc it would seem that early analysis provides enough evidence for SB to proceed towards forming a basis for production with the more defined results due imminently as per the last RNS which will provide more detail for the processing team to work on.

An encouraging scenario.

I do like the use of the term "soft rock nature of the Titanium mineralisation" in the latest RNS. It indicates to me for the first time that EEE have used the "soft rock" term and are happy and correct to proceed with expanding/improving their Process Development Team to further develop future processing ASAP.

I expect this to be born out in the imminent results mentioned in that RNS rather than EEE having to contend with "hard rock" nature of the Titanium mineralisation" so it appears to be "all systems go" towards processing to me.

A reassuring thought for the future I think.

With all the current hype about the possibilities relating to GGP and getting control of the Havieron/Telfer operations perhaps we should sit back and just think about things until the 5th March Shaun Day communication.

I feel strongly we are still in a win/win situation whatever occurs but we have to be aware that some of the recent decisions made by Newmont and possibly others are likely the result of decisions made at Corporate level 3-4 years ago.

There already been a few on here who have said we have been shafted by Newmont twice- Once when they pulled out of the EG agreement and now divesting Havieron rather than seeing it through.

So, in my opinion, we do need to ask whether Newmont in reality want GGP to benefit from the Havieron divestment or ask them whether their Corporate plans do not include GGP (which would make a buy out of GGP more likely which may/would still be advantageous to GGP)

In other words Newmont may have Corporately promised or implied a stake for one their competitors/friends in the eventual control of Havieron in the future. I do realise the failsafe in the Newcrest/GGP JV applies but strange things can happen with potential changes. It is worth a deal of thought and I hope SD has this type of scenario covered.

It seems to me that I need to look at fairly recent (in mining terms) history.

Take for instance a few years back (eg 20019) competitors Barrick and Newmont were fighting to be top dog (top gold producer in the world). The corporate view before 2019 had been that some takeovers were needed to improve the efficiency of the mining industries.

Newmont had taken over Barrick's biggest Canadian competitor Goldcorp which made Newmont top dog at the time.

Barrick responded in early 2019 by trying to takeover Newmont but it was a failed hostile takeover bid.

However Newmont and Barrick (July 2019) joined forces in the Nevada Gold JV for(61.5% Barrick and38.5% Newmont).

Perhaps the Nevada JV agreement was partly to appease Barrick re their failed bid.

Note, it was in Feb/March 2019 that Newmont ditched GGP in the "Not at this time" decision.

Perhaps Newmont could not contend with 2 possible JVs (Ernest Giles and Nevada Gold running at the same time?).

Jump to 2022 and Barricks long term COE Mark Bristow let it be known that Barrick would like to acquire the 38.5% Newmonts share giving it 100% control of Nevada Gold. Perhaps Barrick still have the wish to become top dog. I do not know the outcome of any talks between Newmont/Barrick in this respect.

Suppose Barrick were also interested in the Havieron mine later discovered by GGP it is not inconceivable that certain Corporate discussions have taken place between Newmont and Barrick since with a view to some form of loose agreement in relation to Havieron.

I am sure that many on this board would shout down these theories but we all know that in many cases expected actions do not always occur. Food for thought.

I wouldn't disagree with that.

Remember, Newmont selling Telfer for a pittance is not them being generous, They (effectively Newcrest) will have made their provisions from past profits towards decommissioning Telfer at some time in the future. Those provisions are a significant figure (not sure how much so far but must be in regions of hundreds of millions of dollars. If they succeed in offloading Telfer those provisions can be re-introduced to their books providing a decent capital sum to their savings target for whatever purpose they choose.

Whoever were to pick up Telfer would take on the decommissioning of Telfer but that would be based over many years and the cost can be covered out of future production profits etc or whatever. I do not fully understand the accounting procedures but think the above is on the right lines. I am sure we have an accountant investor who can confirm.

It does look rosy for GGP in the future whatever outcomes come to pass especially with SD at the helm for GGP.
