RE: "SENSIBLE PRICE"7 Nov 2018 09:06
Aug59, We currently have an SP of 0.05p, a M/Cap of £26m and 100% of nothing... which is precisely what BEM will be worth without the exploitation licence, which does not look as though it will materialise anytime soon; Although we all believe that it should.
Kallak was discovered in the 1950's, and was no great secret prior to BEM buying the exploration permit. Therefore, should LKAB have wanted the option to explore and develop at the time, then I'm fairly certain that they would have been at the front of the line. But what BEM have done, is invest considerable money into proving that an economically viable resource exists, which might now make it more attractive to established mining companies.
As it stands at the moment, BEM could be purchased for a song, due to the very weak SP (www.thetakeoverpanel.org.uk - Assuming 30% would be achieved by the interested party). A premium? 0.06p, although unpalatable to most including me, would be considered a 'premium', would it not? Likewise, although I'm not suggesting this to be the case, but KB would not be the first CEO to sell investors down the river in pursuit of a wider agenda. BAOBAB Resources anyone?
