RE: $2bn sales per annum for STS .....29 Aug 2023 14:05
I see we’re heading around the ferris wheel of stupidity again now that the sealion has rolled in to disrupt. He just hates those big numbers. It’s called potential, we’ll find out some day if it gets realised.
The $2bn annualised sales value is a fact and useful to know. Neut, you’re suggesting that you can’t calculate the potential because you haven’t got the numbers. Make some up then. It’s called business modelling. Play around with as many of those unknown parameters as you like. Use industry averages, use the examples that RAH fires out on a daily basis, use an 8.9 sales multiplier. Make some assumptions. The alternative is the ferris wheel of stupidity - we can’t value it… then why are you invested… for the potential… what potential, we can’t value it… then why are you invested…. For the potential… what potential, we can’t value it… then why are you invested…. For the potential… what potential, we can’t value it… blah blah, arf arf arf.
He’s not here, but I’ll stick up for RAH, he puts numbers out there for debate and it’s the correct approach to understand the investment case. Otherwise, why are you invested… oops, back on the ferris wheel.
