Yeah, all made sense until the end. Fiona has suggested they're seeing dox in the plasma so that would be behind their belief that MTD should be along 'shortly', especially given the increases in dose from each cohort to the next.

Who knows, perhaps everyone recruited so far in this cohort has popped their clogs, there’s been a huge variability in the time in each cohort. Flip side, MTD might be declared tomorrow. Alan has given plenty presentations with no new information at all. If there is no news, he’ll do it again. We may indeed get some news prior to the 28th, so I suppose we can add your statement to your list of blatantly obvious statements.

JT is absolutely correct. This ridiculous conversation - now openly and quite rightly mocked by numerous people - happens every single time. Financial results presentations are completely independent of business updates. They'll release news when it happens. Shareholders have asked for increased communications - lovely to have another rinse/repeated presentation and a bunch of Qs they'll ignore. However, those communications can't go beyond what has been released via RNSs.

Last year they were on the 29th, but this year on the 28th. They wouldn’t be bringing it forward by a day unless there was a massive reason to do so.

Anyway, Bein, spot on. The bar is low too, any improvement over dox would be successful. Chemo without the side effects is the tagline and their comments that the clinicians can’t tell who is on chemo sounds incredible. Again, from comments made, they’ve managed to halt progress and extend life for some participants and that’s a clear improvement over the SoC. We don’t need to cure anything to make a difference, the Lartruvo example was excellent, $2bn in annualised sales just on the potential to extend life. Not too long to wait in the grand scheme of things, I take your point that 1b gets to the data, and therefore commercialisation, quicker. If that could go hand in hand with an accelerated approval then it’s a win win.

It’s based on DLTs, so it depends on the trial. They’re monitoring dox levels in the blood and the data will provide them with some insight when it ‘might’ be reached. They won’t continue without defining the MTD, this was said at the AGM if you want to watch it back. It’ll be an MTD or a DE next. Could indeed be next week. I’d guess another cohort, but wouldn’t say no to an MTD and progressing to the next, possibly redesigned, phase.
