The reason we’re seeing the number of cases falling is because we’ve been locked in our houses and staying 2m away from each other. If you fancy that ad infinitum then yeah, there’s little point in testing if if doesn’t spread. As it has managed to circulate during lockdown, I’m sure we’ll see the weakened boundaries pushed too far and the r0 value rising again.
There is a genuine need for mass screening, be that now whilst the picture is looking (unrealistically) rosier, in a month or two when we’ll probably be back in the sh’t or in 6 months time when everyone wants to get back to a genuine normal where they can go to the match, go on flights etc rather than a socially distanced new normal.
Not concerned in the slightest for Avacta, it’s spreading ferociously elsewhere in the world which is a concern for those countries that are struggling to contain it
