My view was we’d be around this level before the test, once it’s confirmed that its usable I’d see a jump to a fiver. When we start seeing the scale of the orders and more and more manufacturing partners and distributors come on board we’ll continue to rise to about a tenner. The neutralising affimer treatment was a bonus that popped up out of nowhere, if that makes progress then that’s when there’ll be a realisation that this is truly disruptive tech. £20++ doesn’t seem unrealistic and probably very conservative. At any point along that road takeover bids could arrive.

So let’s half the number. Just 1.75 billion tests a year. Even with a profit of a just a quid a test and just a 10% share, multiply it back up by a PE of 10 and you’ve got a valuation of 1.75 billion for just one example.

And don’t forget the asymptomatic, it’d be nice to get them out of your local Asda. Widespread testing is absolutely essential. If Boris has any sense (open question), he should get everyone tested asap, the costs are minimal compared with the benefit

Very good point, I’m skint and loathed to cash in any Avacta chips right now, it’s about timing. I’m tempted though. The competitor valuation suggests about 17x so I might switch some across if there’s still value once we’ve our tests are on medusa19.com

Evening, completely off topic but potentially some parallels. I’m just looking into TILS. Anyone in there? Thought today’s news for them was interesting, similarly to Avacta’s tech being comparable with Ablynx that was worth a few bob they’ve just outperformed a competitor with some of their tech that they’re now spinning into a separate PLC. It’s being calculated as being worth many multiples.
