Excellent point B2, we’re still fairly ignorant and there seems to be a lot of conflicting stories coming out. Assuming herd immunity can’t be relied on then testing and isolating is the only option left. A vaccine is still a very long way away and the same immunity questions would remain.

We are nowhere near herd immunity and there are more people with coronavirus than the govt reports. 7% have had it and 0.24% currently have it. Numbers with the virus are stable but it is still circulating.

There is definitely a need for mass screening, it’s not passed through much of the population and there are still plenty people infected. So for anyone worried we’ve missed the boat, we certainly haven’t. Obviously this is just the UK too.

That’s good to hear, thanks. I think the BAMS news will arrive before any LFD update in line with the list of substantial newsflow. From Sir Al’s comments they’re in every hospital and there should be plenty capacity available to make use of them. Due to their throughout we could end up capturing a fair chunk of that market before the LFD gets its approval.
