Awacta’s test is very healthy in terms of margins. Even a quid or two will make huge sums. If schrow is right with over 30% net, then I’ll need to revise my share price calcs up by 50%...

Nope, they’ll cost a couple of dollars and sell at about $15 in bulk. No idea on net margin, but it’s likely to be at least a quid in net margin, not gross I.e. pure cash.

Don’t worry about reagents, read the RNS, they’ve expanded their own manufacturing capacity, that’s the joy of affimers, dead easy to make in huge quantities.

He simply talks an awful lot of sense. Well worth a watch. Particularly comforting to see the list of potential tests, that we’ve already reviewed, that would fall by the wayside up against Awacta. He’s gradually started to get traction, but he explains the challenges in the US due to the nature of the FDA. Those difficulties disappear if Awacta deliver their high performing test. It’s the ultimate best of both worlds, it enables the essential mass screening at sensitivity levels that make a real and dramatic impact. Ignore the clowns, this is the game changer and it’s just around the corner.

You’re both right, it’s good to research competitors to see what’s out there but there’s plenty room for all, particularly for Awacta’s LFD as currently one of only 2 saliva LFDs on the entire planet.

jckt, the MIT test is the e25bio test, looks good, but it’s based on a nasal swab.

It is crap. Still gave their share price a tasty boost.... imagine if you had a genuine game changer
