I really like the design of the test. Looks to be very well designed and ready for home use. The swab snaps off and is held within the tube. Easier for mixing with the buffer and easier to safely dispose of it. Also easy to transport for separate testing, say, for example at testing stations prior to events - turn up, get your nose twiddled with and off you go to await your result via text. It’d take seconds. Genius stuff!

Thanks Luke, I've not read the full detail. It's good to finally formally see in black and white that the PD process is an issue as we've always suspected. It explains the independent CV route and it confirms that as we've had incredible results that there is nothing stopping us taking the test to market. It also says delays, so despite not referencing the document that suggests other routes are acceptable, it does not suggest that we are not being considered - it just explains the ongoing, slow dialogue. The UK CV is probably PD wanting to have a look via their own samples - their version of 3b to bypass 3a. Meanwhile, conversations can continue using the CE mark to sell elsewhere. We're well positioned.

The MHRA have nothing to do with CE marking, they're the body for UKCA and selling in to the UK. As noted, why bother unless we're selling here. As I said the other day, why does it need to be announced, there wouldn't be much to add to the previous RNS. It's just a rubber stamp. The hard work is done for the EU even it it wasn't confirmed as a CE mark anyway. Perhaps they'll wait and register it in the country of the first EU state to sign up to buy them.

Why on earth are you insinuating I'm knowledgeable? If you're 'concerned' and it's just a punt, why do the future prospects of the company matter? What would a sales force achieve? Do you think they're out there knocking door to door?

Anyway, no, I'm not 'concerned'. There is significant demand that outstrips supply. They know this as they've been speaking to multiple distributors/OEMs etc. It's all in the presentation. We'll find out if it's all bluster or not in the coming days...

Don’t forget the consultation paper and the new process that tests will need to pass to remain for sale. It won’t be a free for all and given their poor performance they’ll not be able to sell to end users. For a green light test DTC then only the best will survive. 100/99 fits the bill - with further improvements via the collaboration with Mologic on the s/n version.

Here’s another article to discuss. People think it’ll all be over soon are in for a shock. It still needs testing, tracing and isolating. Pressure will increase for green light LFDs to be used, as with airport arrivals. The same is true the world over. South Korea continues to be successful in suppression due to testing. Demand will hugely exceed supply.

It changes absolutely nothing, as you’ve said, the next RNS is still most likely to be intraday. Payday is near... might be time for another ‘top up’

Nothing new, we knew they were scaling up to 50m. It doesn’t really matter where. They must believe they’re going to sell that many and it’s an inferior product, so bodes well for our demand. Suppose that’s what happens when you’ve billions from the U.K. govt to spend. They’ll spend it on expansion, we’ll spend it on curing cancer and British innovation. Sort yourself out Bojo or Europe it is....

It doesn’t say what exactly capacity they’re aiming for here, just millions per day. If they can spend that cash to expand fairly easily, then I might start believing that Medusa have spent some their billions in doing the same and we might have access to 50m. Time will tell...
