As you've said, all the VoCs are related to the RBD and so this suggests that it'll all be fine and dandy. Here's a couple of quotes from the Q&A:

I’ve never seen a graphic like this before and I’m not sure how accurate it is... but this shows the main variants are from changes in the receptor binding domain:

This suggests the affimers target the non RBD area. If the Indian variant impact the RBD then it should be a formality in the same way as the SA variant.

I’m not saying that they’re at this stage, but in the presentation PresAl suggests the steps needed for home use approval are a lay user study and some additional paperwork. Medusa ran a lay user study recently so if that was what we all think it might have been - it was completed to MHRA guidelines - then it might not be too long. I don’t think they’d wait for this to give approval, after all they approved Innova, I’m just waffling that we might be reasonably close to CE marking for home use and genuine approval. By reasonably close, I mean months away - I’m using the Presalian calendar.

What are you hoping to achieve? It's not changing anything, so if you'd prefer to be less frustrated then try relaxing a bit. It's less stressful to patiently wait and react to news as it arrives rather than constantly chomping at the bit and bleating - and it definitely is bleating I'm afraid. The expectations have been generated by people on here as always. As I said straight away, 'the coming days' was any time from that point through to eternity.

The MHRA website says within 6 working days. He’s passed this on to the market without giving a firm deadline as it’s not within his control. That’s all there is to it. It’s a waiting game, suck it up.

I mean, you say patience, but the board is littered with posts begging for the CE mark and for deals to be announced. Radiagreen is correct, any MHRA delay is just filling the gap between the official CE mark and any deal. These things take time, obscene amounts of cash and contracts are involved. Keep those expectations low and hopes high, thing will happen when they happen...
