No mention of the test type in the article that I can see……it wouldn’t seem practical time wise for PCR test on a daily basis. LFT is the obvious solution for this daily plan.

There's exponential growth in the number of cases and they've let it run wild. It was obvious this was going to happen as the number of pings will grow exponentially too. Why they hadn't lined up test to release at the same time as 'spread covid day' - whoops, 'freedom day' boggles the mind.... No doubt because the MHRA aren't happy with the tat from Chin-ah as a test that's capable. We all know a test that is.

As production increases, they can sign additional distributors. They need 3 things to move in tandem - supply, demand and the necessary distribution. We've been told that they're lining up flexible supply, so that will allow them to focus on increasing distributors and generating demand. The vaccine drive is frankly bizarre if the intention is to live with Covid. Vaccines don’t stop the spread, they don’t last forever and it encourages mutations, never mind the inevitable hospitalisations and deaths. The prevalence needs to reduce. Simply test, test, test. Keep r below 1 for a period of time and then it becomes realistic to monitor with appropriate support for those isolating. If Bojo is against lockdowns to the point he’d happily wipe out everyone over 80, he should probably consider an alternative that achieves the same goal without so many funerals

Mowser, agreed, whenever they're directly challenged, the govt make all the right noises - they've spoken about accurate UK tests, Bojo gave his lame answer to Neale Hanvey saying that they are working night and day to build a UK diagnostics industry. All wonderful fluff, perhaps Surescreen was just a token effort to say they're using UK testing. Ultimately actions speak louder than words and at the same time they're procuring unsuitable tat from Chin-ah. This could be because their current agenda is pushing vaccines and the narrative might change once they think they've exhausted that push. One thing is obvious and that's the points made by Deeks, the current PCR testing capability won't be able to cope so something at some point needs to change. All assuming that Bojo doesn't want the UK to become the global variant mutation capital of the world.

I’m genuinely not bothered in the slightest by Dan, I’m only replying for sport. It’s obvious he’s all angry and upset as he’s lost some cash and is lashing out. If it makes him feel better, then good for him - I’m certainly not to blame for his poor decisions. He’d be better off taking responsibility and growing up. As for MFM, he’s the definition of white noise. Always has been, always will be, I’ve not needed to filter him as I’ve never paid an ounce of attention to his pointless repetition.

Returning to Deeks, he’s an attention seeking testicle. Why post something as childish as that and why continually court attention? There’s little point speculating as it could be anything and most likely nowt to do with us. We’d had the push for vaccines, a mix of carrot and stick and the percentages fully vaccinated are very good indeed. Possibly not quite enough for the delta variant, but we’ll see.

The challenge now is they have a choice to make; try to suppress it via test and trace or leave the U.K. as a global leader in incubating new possibly deadly variants. We’ve had Jeremy Rhymes-With today suggesting a return to restrictions in the autumn. If Bojo wants to stick with his ‘one way street’ without reversing swiftly back up it he’ll need an alternative solution. What’s left? Test, test, test…. I agree with Choo, I’d expect Covid passports to be the next push, they’re already getting mentioned for clubs.
