Neut - it could go sideways until the 'overbought' position is no longer true, it doesn't have to fall. Google it, it's just a few sums to look at what's happened to the price recently. Ooooh, it went up, it might go down. Ooooh, it went down, it might go up. Download some historic data and backtest making decisions based on these metrics. Let me know when you've proven they don't work.

I'd imagine that there are trading forums where people can talk about fibasturbating poor elliot until he's red raw. Just an alternative to clogging up the board with this pointless daily guff saying that it could go up down or sideways.

Neut - take a single second to consider your questions, search deep within your soul and you'll find the answers. Obviously the price can continue to go up and overshoot any TA measure - because they all look backwards, they're utterly meaningless, especially on a news driven biotech. Or maybe I'm wrong (best cover all bases), perhaps if they announce that they've cured cancer the price will go down because a sealion said it's overbought. FML....

He only said mid year as he was avoiding midsummer. He's replaced transformational with pivotal. Ignore the people pleasing phrases that have been wheeled out, the data will tell the story and that will turn up in its own time - there are genuinely incredible people in hospitals contributing to this so it will move at their pace. Ignore anyone with a spreadsheet full of timelines and wait for an official RNS.

You're right LC, although I'd suggest no news in this case actually means good news as it means the trial continues. Like it or lump it, we've been invested in a long term biotech since ol' blancmange shoes missed the open goal. The timescales are different and the constant clamour for news is ridiculous when we're talking about an ongoing clinical trial. All shares will fluctuate as they're not immune to market forces, however it's clear there is still a sizeable retail base given jumps in the number of posters when news hits and overreactions to the daily price. What's also clear are those that are interested in trading and trying to influence sentiment via trying to create expectations or posting about pointless indicators/fibs/blatant lies.
