The committee advise and they’re extremely likely to follow the advice. Yes, I think they *should* give an full explanation if they go beyond 4 as it’s a change in previous advice. I’m not convinced they *will*. I’d be delighted if they did, but I’m also setting my expectations according to how awful they’ve been in the past. Their explanation could be as succinct as them saying, again, that they’re delighted with the excellent progress. They don’t need to release any data at this stage. They’ve already said they might not find a MTD. I completely agree with you BITL, but I’m more than prepared to join the disappointed ranks. Who knows, they might move to 1b and keep 1a going - I hope so.

Then prepare to be disappointed. They’ll go with whatever the safety committee decide and are unlikely to release data in a piecemeal way. You’ll probably get more hints and every word in the RNS will be painstakingly analysed to death. Why would they continue to DE if it wasn’t activating. Common sense says it is, so there’s no gulf - just disappointment. I think the company don’t care about disappointing people. They’re funded and their trial is going well, they’re delighted. If the price continues to wobble around £1.20 for a while longer, it doesn’t change the intrinsic value they’re step by step unlocking by continuing the trial. They’ll keep escalating until the committee say otherwise. If they’re drawing a curve and it’s still a straight line they should keep going. I don’t see a negative at all. Frustrating and disappointing for holders, maybe, but not in the long run if ‘it works’ (tm).

Tend to agree, it’s just idle speculation in a news vacuum. Plenty parameters to choose from. Paul Hill has taken TDs and adjusted the CoS. RAH has chosen his. The rest of the discussion pathetically attempting to discredit either perfectly valid opinion is pure distraction.
