Blue, a chart will never tell you future events, thats true, it will show probable direction of travel. It's merely an indication of short term movement whilst circumstances are the same, let's call it investor sentiment. The main point here is that fundamentally the company has not changed operationally, the political environment has. Therefore the SP is a 10th of where it should be for the value of the company.
It is supposition that the company will split, as much as it is, that it will stay as a whole, this is why we're dealing with a significantly discounted price, it's factored already. In essence, the game here is a game of probabilities based on investor sentiment. Most will understand it's discounted, it matters not the reality or future, only direction of travel for the SP in a time frame we can likely ascertain risks. We understand when the next announcements should be.
Making money is what is important, we none of us have a crystal ball, only our best guess. Our trump card is buying at a significant discount, our achilles heal is fear and greed. All that's in-between is waffle and postulation, it's all just probabilities. As PIs we are not very well connected detectives.
1. Know your companies fundamentals
2. Know probable risks
3. Know your time frame
4. Plan the trade, trade the plan
5. Know when to take profit (scale out)
6. Focus on investor sentiment (this is last and where charts help) you'll already be balls deep at this point.
