I appreciate he can't do it at the moment due to SR but if Colin is going to lead this business in the future then he must lead the way in putting some of his own money (a significant sum like £50k) into buying some shares. This demonstrates confidence and intent. I know he is an accountant but a personal investment of £5k sends a message loud & clear!! Why I didn't run a mile then I'll never know.

There are too many examples of this CEO being out of his depth. It's nothing personal against the man but he has to step down.

It would appear that shareholder's efforts have over the last 24 hours at least created some activity with the powers that be and hopefully this will be confirmed in an RNS shortly.

I'll put my opinion about Colin to one side for now but it really is important that as a group we continue to apply pressure until we see results. This needs to be done without undermining the management and should be done firmly and politely.

I am hoping that Colin himself will recognise what shareholders have done to at least try and resurrect this situation. I am hoping also that he will try and use the power shareholders have positively in the future and generate some results that will attract investors. I'm still astonished that the BOD couldn't get a meeting scheduled to sort this and that raises questions for the future also.

Probably not tomorrow but the process should start moving now. After all who likes being accused of being corrupt? I'm not accusing anybody at this stage but there are a few reputations on the line that individuals will be keen to protect!

I agree with the points raised. At least by rattling a few cages within the last 24 hours we have managed to get some key influencers together. Whatever the outcome of tomorrow's meeting it is vital that investors keep pressing these people for answers until we see results. Despite the cost it is my opinion that Colin should at least be in Slovenia for tomorrow's meeting whether he attends or not. And should the permits be granted he will be in the spotlight more than ever.

I would like him to go and be replaced with someone with a strong track record. If I ever get my investment back then I'll leave this AIM market behind.

As shareholders it is vital that we keep up the pressure on these people - politely but firmly!

Great to see shareholders being positive and taking action to save their investment. Just shows that we do have some influence.

However if we can get an emergency meeting with the powers that be scheduled within 24 hours i wonder what we are paying the big bucks to the BOD for!!!

Colin, if we get these permits fast tracked then it is over to you - I expect results quickly and with no excuses!

While I fully agree with all the points raised in the email to Colin and we should do everything possible to get back on track, I'm amazed that we have to advise a CEO on £200k per annum what to do!

Colin, roll up your sleeves and get shareholders back on your side! We own the company and will support you fully if only we're kept informed.

Well done again with the email - hopefully he'll be in touch. I'm looking for our leader to demonstrate why he was given his position!

If this was a FTSE listed business the shareholders would make a public outcry. All we can do as investors is bombard the influencers. Please put some pressure on the British Ambassador. Something is not right, it needs publicising and investigating. Rather than ranting on here get some tweets and emails going until something happens. It's costing us money if we do nothing!

Hi All, once again i reiterate my message earlier today. All shareholders should be bombarding Sophie Honey the British Ambassador through all forms of media. The ship is steadily sinking and Colin links all of this to the permit issue. This needs broadcasting loud and clear until a thorough investigation is carried out.

I can't imagine how today's debacle would not be reported in the financial press! The whole situation needs publicising. I would defend Colin regarding certain factors beyond his control but his pitiful personal share purchases speak volumes. As a CEO his actions should've given pi's confidence but it is becoming apparent why he was unwilling to do so.

I'm my opinion i wouldn't lose heart just yet. As long term holders we have been waiting an eternity for something to happen. Reading between the lines, today's RNS may cause a positive reaction. The Slovenian authorities are now more than ever in the spotlight and will be aware that A ST have actually had to take action and slash costs due to continued delays. This situation could get have a positive reaction but it needs publicising. The British Ambassador should be driving this as a matter of urgency. Also any interested parties still negotiating are obviously serious about reaching a deal.

I asked this last week as to whether anybody on this bb had any journalism contacts. Someone would be interested in opening this up as a story. I'm confused as to why the BOD haven't done this themselves.

I am still dismayed regarding Colin's personal investment - that sent out a clear message to everyone.

The Slovenian authorities should be personally named and shamed because nobody has given an explanation to the delays. Any influential people must act now.

I disagree. Ast has now made the decision to actively take some decisive action to force the situation to change. We should support Colin by making our feelings known to the British Ambassador to Slovenia.

While I cant say Im entirely surprised at this morning's news I think it would be in all shareholder's interests to bombard Sophie Honey the British Ambassador to Slovenia through all forms of media possible. The permit issue needs investigating and it is evident that CH carries little influence with the Slovenian Authorities.

It is important for shareholders to make their feelings known and to highlight the situation until we get an acceptable explanation. Unfortunately we have waited until this stage and it is now important for shareholders to take this up themselves.

I fully agree with Blazinl. I'm not criticising any individuals but this forum allows people to state intentions but following them through is another thing altogether.

I wondered if any of our contributors have contacts within journalism? I'm sure somebody would be interested in documenting this story.

While I understand that Colin is dealing with a lot of issues, his lack of personal investment speaks volumes. He has never acknowledged the pain of investors some of whom have large sums linked into their pensions. He is rewarded whatever happens and the performance of this share is an embarrassment.
