All well & good stating that...I've tried to average down but that just leads to losing even more money! Begs the question - why don't the BOD follow your theory & actually invest some of their own money as actions speak louder than words.

Once again we're left with radio silence & I wonder what actually is going on behind the scenes & wi!l it ever happen. More importantly will Management ever recognise the correlation between their actions & providing PI's with some returns on their investment???

Although I fully understand that Covid is the main issue, let us just hope that it is not a convenient way for the company to avoid answering questions. I have sat through conference calls in past where despite me putting forward questions, they were not asked. The BOD need to be accountable. I'm expecting more of the same as previous. We don't need an AGM to be kept informed. If things were happening we would see RNS's and worryingly we're not. I'm even questioning Align's motives now & whether they're just acting as a PR instrument.

Action would move the share price & an AGM won't do it.

I really hope that investors take the time to put forward questions to the BOD at the AGM in June. If these are ignored as previously then I will send them directly to the AST email address. I am amazed that no financial journalist has investigated the goings on with this business despite my attempts to invite them. Investors have been continually misled and despite supposedly being about to launch legal action against Slovenia, nothing has transpired. Meanwhile, the funds continue to ebb away.

I agree wholeheartedly with Zoggz & Alwaysup. Just to clarify my position I am not a shorter, I just want the BOD to give me a return on my investment & then I will move on learning a valuable lesson.

In answer to the naysayers with their conspiracy theories...we are now almost 1/2 way through year & nothing tangible has been produced other than a commentary on what has gone on before or what may happen in the future. AST have no income, just expenses - how that will benefit the share price escapes me!

At last. some acknowledgement from the Board of Directors that they are willing to answer questions. Let's hope they do so and this time I won't be wasting my time forwarding questions that are not answered!!! The jury is still out for me regarding the current BOD. All I ask for are some tangible actions and signs of progress!
PS - Kashdog is as frustrated as me and he is genuine - I recall him from the bad old days of Hutchinson & Carver.

Looking at the trades there certainly are a lot of strange volumes going through - almost to give impression of activity while keeping share price stable. We are now nearly half way through the year & no progress has been made - nothing tangible anyway. No legal update, no news from Cuba - several changes in Management & nothing has changed. The lack of activity on this board also speaks for itself!!

Tiffany Sadler took over the position in Septembt 20. Wouldn't expect any support from them as they just tend to appear when there is a photo opportunity to promote themselves. The silence here is deafening now!!

The last paragraph in the last RNS basically reads that future funding cannot be guaranteed although the BOD are reasonably confident that they could achieve this.

This has been the case for years & I reiterate that the BOD are under little pressure to get things moving. Drawing salary & part time roles. A token gesture from Parsons regarding self investment & nothing from anyone else. My mistake investing here was long term not recognising BOD's lack of self investment & nothing has changed! A simple gesture like that would retain confidence.

It would be nice to be updated on something 'tangible ' & actual progress instead of stating intentions & plans.
Funds are continually draining away, the BOD continue to avoid making any significant investment themselves & despite the change in personnel, AST continue to be a rudderless ship!

Acknowledgement of shareholders occasionally would be appreciated to!

Are you aware that the company's main current income stream is from a well where the pressure is gradually declining (hence the requirement for restimulation)? We have today seen a review of what we already know.

There is no sense of urgency to hold the government to account. Salaries continue to be paid but it is the same old story. I am not de ramping - I want the share price to increase so I can get some investment back and leave ASAP!

I have held shares with AST for 5 years. Despite all of the changes in Management & strategies, the increase in "share price" has not been forthcoming.

Without boring others, the Management at Alien Metals (UFO) actually consists of management with "expertise in their sector" & where they have "actually invested their own money."

I don't need to look through your posting history, from your comments alone I can see you've been invested here for a short period of time.

I repeat Quarter 1 closing...what value has materialised for a shareholder so far in the last 2 years??

Unfortunately a familiar air of inevitably with this company. As once again we go into a period of radio silence. New BOD - only one has personally bought shares. Progress stalling along with the well output. No clarification of what is going on with the Slovenian Government. Despite the so called expertise on the BOD there appears to be nothing tangible in terms of results.

Once again the BOD do not need to have a sense of urgency as they are drawing a salary & I fear they will soon be asking shareholders for another handout.

As a shareholder, once again I am guessing as there is little to go on from the actions of management!

Really being as negative as yourself must be detrimental to your health.

Instead of whingeing like a child on a forum why don't you channel your energy into challenging the Management at the webinar? You must be unbearable in person!!

Any talk of Colin Hutchinson knowing what he was doing...believe me we had a frank exchange on LinkedIn where he wanted to know "who I was??" I have him a few home truths about investors having money tied up in pensions following his scripted interviews - not much in the way of an answer. I hate to tar & feather any Accountants with an MBA but I was amazed he could be a CEO. He is now fundraising elsewhere . If I had met him personally beforehand - no way I would've invested in this co.

Btw to all of the optimists...it's now mid April? What has been achieved this year & how much salary has been banked by the BOD???

Wouldn't it be nice if the BOD demonstrated their belief in the company by investing themselves. I'm sure this must be a closed period but If not I'm sure they can invent another reason!

These guys are being paid thousands & not once have they acknowledged a debt to shareholders!!

Tried a dummy sell (I'm still here and desperately trying to get ou!). Funnily enough there was no problem selling on HL at any point today so obviously yet again there is an ulterior motive at play!!

All I would say in response to this update is once again the message is 'wait...' I still am after 4 years!! Don't forget the BOD aren't under any real pressure to deliver as they're drawing a salary & have multi Directorships.

I'm still invested in a small way but fully understand why nobody from the BOD moves onto better positions with better companies...

I fully reason with you. It doesn't matter what the issue is with this business, nothing ever seems to get resolved. All investors will be dead from old age before AST produce anything of substance! ! When I think of the salaries that have been paid up to now it's like "nice work if you can get it!"
