I have contacted the Director's myself and it is a disgrace that they can get away with this action. If you have not already done so it is my opinion that you should raise either directly with AST or approach a financial journalist to investigate further. In John Buggenhagen's time AST raised funds for equipment which was never purchased.

As investors how can one invest to average down if in my opinion the Director's are misleading all?

As per my previous post if you look into the background of these people they do have limited contacts i.e. Align Research, working with same individuals on previous Boards etc. Still a mystery the recruitment process they go through to secure these positions. Then they move on & the whole process starts again. Never headhunted by Footsie companies & I recognise why. The previous Board were just the same & have similar roles now.

Yet another Accountant. 'Same old' limited network and a track record of no profitability???

The previous Board were busy raising money...this current Board is busy doing nothing! The share price performance is a reflection on their activity!!

I reiterate....exactly what are the current BOD working on? Surely if developments were taking place the market would be updated. I state once again, I am staggered that this work can be done on a part time basis?? The only beneficiaries are Management via salary.

No accountability as PI's are left in the dark!!

I am sure you will remember Doug also who had a fortune invested in this share. In old money when share price was 2p he was advising investors to top slice when it got to 4p!!LOL. I considered him to be an expert until I learned he also invested in Ctag!!!

Meanwhile another day another dollar for the BOD...it will soon be September!!

Why do I get the feeling that whenever the next RNS arrives (if ever!) it will go into detail as to why no further progress has been made...Mid August now...

Salaries continue to eat into funds despite the best legal support!!

There has been a lot of questionable actions by the company's Management over the years. Arguably John Buggenhagen's Management tops the list! I blame myself now as this was a ridiculous investment to make. Even Hutchinson took an age to purchase £5K worth of shares.

Very disconcerting that nothing has happened for months - very disappointed that new Management has made no difference whatsoever.

One of the limiting factors is that the current BOD are on part time roles. No accountability, no targets, no personal financial contribution. Their only contribution has been expense. They will all move on to other roles or blind PI's with science to try and justify raising funds. I've learned a valuable lesson about AIM in general and wouldn't invest in any venture where these individuals are involved.

I would also be very interested to know. How about a previous CEO stating on an a LSE interview broadcast on a Tuesday " we do not have any requirement to raise funds. " Fast forward to the Friday of the same week and low & behold an out of hours placing via Primary Bid where he chipped in £5K and the share price was decimated & has continued to fall since! Us long term holders will remember this well but to a few others we're allegedly shorting the stock!

One day this whole sector of the market will be brought to justice!

Had a look into Andrew Dennan's past - Darwin Startegic - now dissolved but there's more... one of the former Directors is Clive Carver!!! Interesting!!

I've just finished reading a book based on a true story called 'Billion Dollar Whale.' It illustrates how shell companies operate. We seem to have a network of businesses all busy doing nothing on AIM. I'm no longer investing in this sector now due to the poor regulation. I have one exception which is doing well and strangely it no longer trades on the AIM platform.

The really alarming factor with James Parsons as CEO is that all of his other companies have a similar pattern to AST with their share price. Begs the question of what does he actually oversee? I am increasing sceptical also of Align Research who seem to be involved also.

While I accept certain things take time to come to fruition - absolutely nothing appears to be generated by any of these businesses. With regards to AST anyone would think that the Directors were working from scratch - they have just picked up where the previous regime left.

One further reason for alarm was the recent question and answer session where I asked the BOD what they would be doing to address the share price decline. The answer was a long the lines that they could give no guarantees regarding this. Why then I ask are they in dialogue with PI's? I am still baffled why they hold several positions on a part time basis?

I've been invested here since 2016 as a result of my own stupidity & naivety! Despite averaging down & reducing my holding I am now in the grand position of minus 80%. A part time BOD earning a fortune, under no time pressure & answering to no one!
How long do they need to produce something tangible.??
I wouldn't bother regurgitating previous RNS's - after all how many of them actually occur in reality.

"The BOD are acutely aware of the need for urgency..." - If anybody hasn't noticed we're now approaching August - 8 months of salary expenses & what do shareholders have in return? Funds will not last forever.

So as we go into yet another week with no news on the "strong case against Slovenia" which is obviously not so cast iron after all... Let's hope the experts on the BOD are back from their other part time roles this week to give some justification to their positions.

See looking at the trades that investors are voting with their trades. I wonder if AST BOD are even in their offices today or busy elsewhere with their other part time roles??!!

Oldblue. The management team are Financiers - the only thing they will be working on is a justification to fundraise. Before the BOD arrived we were working on legal action, research had been done on the gas fields. As investors we have seen absolutely nothing tangible - just plans & proposals. As a long term holder I am looking for a return on my investment. The share price is down, virtually nothing being traded. The BOD are just going through the motions & picking up their money. The comments you make illustrate your ignorance to the point that you come across as a PR spokesman for the company.

This BOD has achieved nothing to date. I fear the year will run out with the same result and these guys will then disappear into the sunset like all before them!
