If you also have a look at Colin Hutchinson's profile activity in LinkedIn i think you'll find he has lots of free time. I fully agree with the point earlier that he will be well aware that people have pension money tied up in this share and his actions to date appear to be for nothing more than personal gain.
Still we await any acknowledgement of this from the BOD.

I've been here a bit longer than you - maybe JB has a few surprises but I'm not too impressed so far. A lot of what is being said now was being talked about in January.

I'm probably going to be moving on after the conference call as I have no faith in the BOD & accept that I have made a mistake in holding on to shares after following their words.I see it pointless asking at the conference call as the questions are carefully vetted but how the BOD & particularly Colin Hutchinson can defend their pay & particularly lack of willingness to purchase shares without good reason is unacceptable.As shareholders, we judge the company on its share performance & this has been dismal to say the least! Other influences aside, no feedback, no influence. Goodbye AIM!

Let's hope we find the answer and soon!

Stockdale I agree with every word you say. Previous regime..Hutchinson & Carver, bought no shares personally, achieved very little, have since moved on - & now we have slashed costs by 50%??? I've even challenged the national press to get involved without success. I've been very patient & invested money - in our new CEO I'm now looking for results - he's been with the business long enough to start performing.

Ahead of the forthcoming conference call ( I have put forward questions at the previous ones which weren't asked) I would like to put our new CEO on the spot & ask... " as a long term shareholder who has listened closely to the remarks made by the BOD -looking specifically at the performance of the share price over the last 12 months, how do you aim to address this? Forget the politics, action plans etc - when will you specifically acknowledge & address share price performance & tell us which actions you will implement to reverse the decline? As a long term holder I am shortly going to move on. I am staggered about how much money has been thrown at this & all it seems to have done is pay vastly inflated salaries for non performance! Colin Hutchinson shame on you...you should never be placed with this responsibility again!

Kashdog your comments are taken in good faith - I misunderstood the tone as one can with messages. My point was that neither recent CEO has acknowledged what shareholders are going through. We make our decisions based on their comments. What surprises me about the calibre of these people is that they seem to lack awareness outside of their specialist field. Not really where I'm happy investing now.

Kashdog. You're obviously running the fan club!! Feel free to criticise - I've invested a moderate sum and held for a number of years as advised to do so by Ast's management. The previous CEO informed us that we were preparing for legal action in January?? And every excuse in the book for not purchasing shares to inspire confidence. Crawl back into your hole - you tipify the AIM market which says it all. I won't comment again so go and bother someone else!

I've given JB the chance to make an impact over the last few weeks. Sadly, while I appreciate that there maybe a lot of things going on behind the scenes which are confidential, just like Colin, not once has he acknowledged the performance of the share price or how it has affected Pi's who after all own the company. I'm going to end my investment here in the next few weeks as I have no faith in this anymore.

You could even put a recommendation on his profile!!?. I won't be looking to invest in any project he is linked with in the future!

Not sure how long you've been invested in AST but the reason people aren't running in with the cheque book is that in some cases they hold millions of shares at prices around 2p. Hopefully the new management structure will value the business accordingly now that a clear strategy is being devised.

I personally don't want any 'deal's ' struck with ARSO. I want this whole sorry episode that has been going on for years out out into the public arena. The British Ambassador Sophie Honey should be leading this campaign and publicising for all its worth. I am still sceptical of Colin who is getting paid irrespective of what happens! BOD put your hands in your pockets and buy some shares. Show some leadership and inspire us!

And in the meantime Kashdog the BOD retain the right to continually leave shareholders in the dark so they are unable to make an informed decision about their investment. The actions of the BOD has been an embarrassment this far considering they operate at the most senior level. I'm not looking for an update on litigation, any update on another aspect of the business would be good. And how about the BOD purchasing some shares to instil a bit of confidence??

I have just had my email to a national newspaper journalist , specialising in AIM acknowledged. He was interested to find out what Sophie Honey's involvement had been to date. I have highlighted my concerns as well as the lack of feedback from the BOD on any other projects. Let's see if anything occurs.

As I haven't had the decency of a reply from Colin, I've instead forwarded my enquiry to a national newspaper journalist who specialises in AIM markets to ask if he is aware of this whole situation? As Brexit is very much in the news perhaps somebody will publicise what's gone on. I personally would like Colin to step down as ignoring a polite query from a shareholder speaks volumes!

I wasn't referring to shareholders dislodging Colin. I mean Management of the business. Colin is paid very highly but we have
seen very few results over the last three years. Progress has been very slow & institutional investors don't see any attraction in investing as results are woeful.

I'm not convinced that Colin has secured his position? He is not a CEO he is a Senior Accountant. He appears to have no oil and gas technical expertise and virtually no influence. Even on the stage managed interviews he does occasionally he is far from convincing. I have learned a valuable lesson investing here!
