Does anyone know why there would be a lot more buys than sells this morning, particularly on news like today, or are they expecting from the meeting that they will offer a slightly increased price 'as a favour to all long standing shareholders' to part with their shares
And here we have it the final shafting of all us shareholders. What a shower of s!£$%. To say this is to the benefit of all shareholders is complete rubbish, the only ones who benefit are Hindaju brothers, run the share price down and buy the company for peanuts.
Fickling is the Chairman
Finally some good news, hopefully this will start to re-rate now we have this big obstacle out of our way.
Are you still holding here
pheonixchi Would like some more myself, I have been looking at a long on a spreadbet, but spread not very generous at just over 3p, I will keep an eye on this and get in at some point. Personally for me this must be the bottom or very near, as its already had a significant drop, time will tell and probably quite soon.
Hi Smile, I bought this a couple of years ago at around £2.75, so for me with the ever increasing dividend and good long term prospects, this is definitely a hold. Even if share growth slows down, the dividend yield for me is around 7 to 8 % so as I say definitely a hold
The only light I could shed is for todays drop, as its ex-dividend day, paying 2.75p. Other reasons are, we are still waiting for a decision from the Competition and Markets Authority, hopefully that will be resolved next month. For me the main reason is sentiment, the share is just not loved by the city and its recent inconsistency's have scared away PI's. I'm sure the Prof and Moljen could give much better in depth reasons.
Company is going from strength to strength, share price improving all the time. Great long termer.
I would like to agree with your sentiment, the problem is I believe we only have one director who actually owns any shares, and that's the Chairman. Perhaps the others think they just don't have too, or more likely they just don't have enough faith in there own company !!!! Come on guys show a little faith, how can you inspire others if you can't inspire yourselves !!!
Also seems to have ignored any value in the contract win, with prospects of more contract wins. Can only assume MM's are playing there usual games.
Really don't see how there's a 22% drop in this mornings RNS
to all Alumasc holders
On Optare's website they seem to be advertising for a lot of new positions mainly Field Engineers, hope this is a good sign for the future
You could be quite correct, but i'm guessing off the share price, that the vast majority sold out. My comment was really towards the ramping and very positive comments. You are right it was a very good step in the right direction, but we could do with many more positive RNS's and with many more large orders before we can be truly positive about this share. Cheers
I can't help but wonder, where all the posters have gone since the 10th March, many of them telling us how good this share is, and some even telling us the share price is on its way to 0.60 very shortly. Hmmm, surely they can't all have sold out so quickly particularly as this share 'is the next best thing to sliced bread' !!!
Markets clearly not happy with results, hope there are no more surprise's to come out in the future, as in no more large exceptional costs. Really thought today was going to be upwards and onwards. How wrong you can be sometimes.
Agreed, great steady share, have been holding for two years and will be holding for many more years. In that time share price has almost doubled and the dividend has also almost doubled. So were getting it form both sides. Excellent
Agreed, and then there was four, still room for many more though
Would like to know the same thing, obviously some kind of manipulation going on or its got some more local issues going on. Like truegent says patience and you need nerves of steel. Just try to remember long term this will be a good share.
